【摘要】：哈羅德·拉格是20世紀(jì)30-40年代美國(guó)最為著名的教科書作家之一。他所撰寫的《人類及其變遷中的社會(huì)》系列教科書，，在這一時(shí)期經(jīng)歷了從廣受歡迎到引起巨大爭(zhēng)議并最后慢慢淡出人們視線的過程。目前國(guó)內(nèi)外有關(guān)拉格系列教科書的研究均側(cè)重教育領(lǐng)域，本文則希望通過分析拉格系列教科書對(duì)美國(guó)歷史的解讀及其所引發(fā)的巨大爭(zhēng)議，結(jié)合美國(guó)國(guó)內(nèi)和國(guó)際環(huán)境的變化探討其在美國(guó)社會(huì)沉浮的原因，進(jìn)而從一個(gè)新的角度更為深入的理解美國(guó)的社會(huì)變遷。 正文共分三部分：第一部分通過拉格的成長(zhǎng)經(jīng)歷分析其以課程改革和教材改造社會(huì)的思想，通過《人類及其變遷中的社會(huì)》編寫、出版概況分析其流行與當(dāng)時(shí)美國(guó)社會(huì)、政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)和史學(xué)狀況之間存在的密切關(guān)系；第二部分闡述拉格系列教科書在解釋美國(guó)歷史時(shí)突出表現(xiàn)的三個(gè)特征和拉格對(duì)美國(guó)歷史取得偉大成就的動(dòng)因分析；第三部分探討拉格系列教科書解讀美國(guó)歷史的方式所引發(fā)的爭(zhēng)議，分析其特征和實(shí)質(zhì)，指出國(guó)內(nèi)外環(huán)境和社會(huì)大眾關(guān)注焦點(diǎn)的變化。至50年代，當(dāng)美國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)開始持續(xù)繁榮、政治穩(wěn)定、人民生活逐漸得到改善后，用階級(jí)之間的對(duì)立沖突的角度分析美國(guó)歷史的教科書逐漸不再受到歡迎，拉格及其教科書漸漸淡出了人們的視線。 總之，拉格系列教科書對(duì)美國(guó)歷史的解釋反映了時(shí)代特征、史學(xué)發(fā)展和大眾趣味的綜合，其在美國(guó)社會(huì)的沉浮更是當(dāng)時(shí)政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、社會(huì)和史學(xué)變遷的縮影。
[Abstract]:Harold Ragger is one of the most famous American textbook writers in the 30-40 s.The series of textbooks on Human beings and their changing Society, which he wrote, went through a period of popularity, great controversy, and finally fading out of sight.At present, the domestic and foreign researches on the Ragger series textbooks are focused on the educational field. This paper hopes to analyze the interpretation of the American history and the great controversy caused by the Lagerian textbooks.Combined with the changes of the domestic and international environment in the United States, this paper probes into the causes of its ups and downs in American society, and then makes a deeper understanding of the social changes in the United States from a new angle.The text is divided into three parts: the first part analyzes the idea of reforming society with curriculum reform and teaching materials, compiles Human and its changing Society, and analyzes its popularity and the American society and politics through its growing up experience.The second part expounds the three outstanding characteristics of Lagerian textbooks in explaining American history and the motivation analysis of his great achievements in American history.The third part discusses the controversy caused by the way of reading American history in the series of textbooks, analyzes its characteristics and essence, and points out the changes of the focus of attention of the environment and the public at home and abroad.In the 1950s, when the American economy began to prosper, political stability and people's lives gradually improved, the textbooks used to analyze American history from the perspective of class antagonism were becoming less popular.Ragger and his textbooks faded out of sight.In a word, the interpretation of American history in Lagerian textbooks reflects the characteristics of the times, the development of historiography and the synthesis of popular interest. Its ups and downs in American society are the epitome of the political, economic, social and historical changes of that time.
