[Abstract]:The history of Canadian labour law is not long written, and it can be said that the subject was not taken seriously before the rise of the new labour history in 1970s. Experts in history and law have expanded their fields of study, embraced new subjects, and looked at the subjects of previous studies in a new way. However, as this article summarizes, outside the main divisions, There is almost no historical debate in the field of labour law history, and its development prospects are uncertain. The first focus of research on the history of labour law in Canada is mainly focused on the laws regulating collective bargaining and strikes. And most of these studies are subordinate to a broader range of legal or historical themes. In the legal field, with the end of the second World War, the system of collective agreements has matured and stabilized.
