　　從十九世紀(jì)上半年開始,美國社會(huì)關(guān)于“婦女的領(lǐng)域”爭論不斷。而“婦女的領(lǐng)域”這一概念的核心“真女人”則被當(dāng)時(shí)美國主流社會(huì)定義為相夫教子的家庭主婦,而非進(jìn)入社會(huì)工作的職業(yè)女性。就這一點(diǎn)而言,中國傳統(tǒng)婦女在新中國成立之前處于相似的境地。她們必須遵守“三從四德”,在家庭中扮演好溫柔賢惠的女兒、妻子和母親的角色。然而,隨著第二次世界大戰(zhàn)的爆發(fā),中美兩國迅速卷入其中,戰(zhàn)爭對兩國的發(fā)展產(chǎn)生了相當(dāng)大的影響,也給中美兩國婦女的命運(yùn)以及其在社會(huì)中扮演的角色和帶來了改變的機(jī)會(huì)。美國歷史學(xué)家威廉·H·查夫指出,第二次世界大戰(zhàn)是美國婦女就業(yè)史上的分水嶺。二戰(zhàn)爆發(fā)后,美國婦女就業(yè)人數(shù)激增,大約有600萬美國女性在二戰(zhàn)中參與就業(yè),并且相當(dāng)一部分美國婦女第一次有機(jī)會(huì)進(jìn)入工業(yè)領(lǐng)域工作,包括男性占絕大部分的軍工業(yè)。這部分女性中不乏已婚婦女、年長婦女以及美籍華人或美籍黑人等少數(shù)群體婦女。戰(zhàn)爭也給中國婦女的就業(yè)帶來了較大的改變,也有一些女性進(jìn)入到工廠工作。但是和美國不同的是,第二次世界大戰(zhàn)并非是中國婦女就業(yè)的“黃金時(shí)代”,中國婦女在二戰(zhàn)中的就業(yè)——尤其是在工業(yè)中的就業(yè)情況并未取得革命性的發(fā)展。本文將結(jié)合“社會(huì)性別”理論,對中...
