【摘要】：隨著計(jì)算機(jī)系統(tǒng)規(guī)模的不斷增長,計(jì)算機(jī)系統(tǒng)結(jié)構(gòu)的研究對于如何更有效地利用各個(gè)部件的性能顯得尤為重要.但是在系統(tǒng)結(jié)構(gòu)的研究中,由于研究對象規(guī)模過大,采用模擬器進(jìn)行模擬測試是一種常用的方法.但是在使用全系統(tǒng)模擬器的時(shí)候,將整個(gè)系統(tǒng)進(jìn)行模擬會造成實(shí)驗(yàn)效率的降低和模擬器程序的維護(hù)困難.因此,使用基于trace輸入的模擬器成為了一種提高模擬器效率的常用方法,但是由于trace不能良好地表現(xiàn)計(jì)算機(jī)系統(tǒng)某些部分的運(yùn)行特性,難以避免地存在一定的模擬誤差.對此,提出了一種基于trace精度改進(jìn)的內(nèi)存系統(tǒng)模擬器優(yōu)化方法,通過增加trace中包含的內(nèi)容、提高trace的精度并在內(nèi)存系統(tǒng)模擬器中實(shí)現(xiàn)相應(yīng)的支持機(jī)制,從而在不影響模擬器運(yùn)行效率的情況下提高內(nèi)存系統(tǒng)模擬器的運(yùn)行精度.
[Abstract]:With the increasing of computer system scale, the research of computer system structure is very important for how to make more effective use of the performance of each component.However, in the research of the system structure, because the research object is too large, it is a common method to use simulator for simulation test.However, when using the whole system simulator, the simulation of the whole system will result in the reduction of the experimental efficiency and the difficulty in maintaining the simulator program.Therefore, the use of simulator based on trace input has become a common method to improve the efficiency of the simulator. However, because trace can not well represent the running characteristics of some parts of the computer system, it is difficult to avoid certain simulation errors.In this paper, an optimization method of memory system simulator based on trace precision improvement is proposed. By adding the contents contained in trace, the precision of trace is improved and the corresponding supporting mechanism is realized in the memory system simulator.Therefore, the running accuracy of the memory system simulator is improved without affecting the efficiency of the simulator.
