英語(yǔ)閱讀在英語(yǔ)教學(xué)中占有非常重要的地位。在我國(guó),英語(yǔ)教改歷經(jīng)多年的探索與實(shí)踐,取得了很大發(fā)展,但目前中等師范學(xué)校英語(yǔ)專業(yè)學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)閱讀水平普遍較低,自主閱讀能力很差。教學(xué)中普遍采用傳統(tǒng)教學(xué),教師處于中心地位,主導(dǎo)整個(gè)課堂,而學(xué)生只是被動(dòng)的接受者。教師更注重詞匯、語(yǔ)法和語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)的講解,忽視了學(xué)生閱讀水平的提高和自主閱讀能力的培養(yǎng),因而學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)閱讀方面存在很大問題。建構(gòu)主義教學(xué)理論強(qiáng)調(diào)以學(xué)生為中心,開展合作學(xué)習(xí),認(rèn)為知識(shí)不是由教師傳授的,而是由學(xué)習(xí)者自身在一定的情境下通過自己的學(xué)習(xí)及他人的幫助,并通過意義建構(gòu)的方式獲得的。結(jié)合建構(gòu)主義理論和學(xué)生實(shí)際,筆者提出基于建構(gòu)主義的中師英語(yǔ)專業(yè)閱讀教學(xué)模式。本文旨在探討基于建構(gòu)主義教學(xué)模式對(duì)提高中等師范學(xué)校英語(yǔ)專業(yè)學(xué)生閱讀水平和自主閱讀能力是否可行,具體研究?jī)蓚�(gè)問題:1)建構(gòu)主義教學(xué)能否提高中等師范學(xué)校英語(yǔ)專業(yè)學(xué)生閱讀水平?2)建構(gòu)主義教學(xué)能否提高中等師范學(xué)校英語(yǔ)專業(yè)學(xué)生自主閱讀能力?筆者以所在單位——河北唐山師范學(xué)院玉田分校（中等師范學(xué)校性質(zhì)）英語(yǔ)專業(yè)一年級(jí)進(jìn)行了為期18周的閱讀教學(xué)實(shí)驗(yàn)。在筆者所帶的兩個(gè)教學(xué)班中,一（3）班被隨機(jī)抽取為實(shí)驗(yàn)班,一（...
