計算機輔助語言學習與教師角色

計算機已成為人們?nèi)粘I畹囊徊糠帧S嬎銠C技術(shù)的普及改變了人們的生活和工作形態(tài),計算機的應(yīng)用深入教育的各個領(lǐng)域,尤其是語言教學方面。計算機輔助語言學習(英文縮寫為CALL)作為一種現(xiàn)代化的教學技術(shù),越來越受到人們的重視。由于CALL計算機不僅能呈現(xiàn)單純的文字、數(shù)字等字符信息,而且還能輸出動畫、圖像和聲音,能非常容易做到教學信息的圖、文、聲并茂,利用計算機作為主要教學媒體來進行的語言教學活動,是一種新的教學形式。本文首先介紹了CALL的基本涵義,然后回顧了CALL的發(fā)展歷史,討論了當今社會普遍使用的CALL應(yīng)用程序,分析了使用CALL的優(yōu)劣之處。由于CALL是一個由“教師”、“學習者”、“電腦”等因素共同組成的綜合體,這幾個因素對CALL能否成功運用都有著重要的影響。從CALL的幾十年來的發(fā)展來看,大部分的CALL軟件都是以“學習者”的需要為中心開發(fā)出來的,CALL領(lǐng)域中已有的大部分論文重點都是“學習者”的角色需要或是討論“學習者”和“計算機”關(guān)系,“教師”的角色作用往往被忽略了。其實,CALL雖然對英語教學具有一定的促進作用,但在教學實踐中還存在諸多問題,更需要“教師”來驅(qū)動其學習過程,...
