近三十年來,話語標(biāo)記語一直是語言研究中的熱門話題。作者選用美國(guó)肥皂劇《律政狂鯊》(第一季)作為法庭話語的自然語料，借助關(guān)聯(lián)理論，分析其中的話語標(biāo)記語but,旨在研究語言在交際中的動(dòng)態(tài)性和互動(dòng)性。 本文采用定性分析和定量分析相結(jié)合的方法來闡釋話語標(biāo)記語but在法庭中的語言特點(diǎn)。通過對(duì)所收集語料中but進(jìn)行了詳細(xì)的研究,我們發(fā)現(xiàn)話語標(biāo)記語but為聽話者在尋找話語與語境之間的某種聯(lián)系并獲得最佳關(guān)聯(lián)的理解時(shí)提供了一個(gè)語用認(rèn)知導(dǎo)向并且對(duì)話語的整體連貫起到促進(jìn)作用。 作者旨在探究法律人員如何通過使用but來達(dá)到其勸說目的,相信此項(xiàng)研究對(duì)類似的語言現(xiàn)象的研究和中國(guó)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)此類語言現(xiàn)象提供一個(gè)有價(jià)值的參照。
