【摘要】：古今學(xué)者在注疏"禮樂(lè)不興,則刑罰不中"章之際著墨不多,分歧也不顯著,然而通常的解釋讓人頗覺(jué)難以理解。聯(lián)系孔子此言的具體語(yǔ)境以及相關(guān)文字在春秋時(shí)期的用法進(jìn)行深入考察可知,"禮樂(lè)不興,則刑罰不中"章實(shí)際上指一國(guó)之君得位不正以后很可能要出現(xiàn)的以其為核心的禮樂(lè)秩序無(wú)法建立,故而濫用刑罰以維護(hù)其統(tǒng)治的狀態(tài)�？鬃舆@段話不僅符合衛(wèi)國(guó)當(dāng)時(shí)的情形,也有助于人們從一個(gè)側(cè)面洞悉古代王朝衰亡之規(guī)律。
