《宋飛正傳》中的會話幽默與性別研究

語言與性別研究是社會語言學所關注的主要課題之一。幽默作為一種語言現(xiàn)象是目前語言學研究的熱點之一。本文就是從語用學和社會語言學的角度出發(fā),通過分析男女在日常會話中對語用原則中的合作原則,言語行為理論的遵守與違反,去發(fā)現(xiàn)男女在會話中的差異,從而更好地進行異性會話交際,減少兩性之間的誤解。 《宋飛正傳》是20世紀90年代美國最受推崇的情景喜劇之一。故事的設定就是展示普通人的平凡生活,但其中趣事逸聞笑料不斷。許多劇集都是根據(jù)劇作者們的真實經(jīng)歷改編,更貼近真實生活。 本文選取了該劇中95段日常對話并把它們按性別進行分類,具體分為同性別組(全男性組和全女性組)和混合組來研究男女會話幽默的特點。通過對本文所收集的語料數(shù)據(jù)進行整理和分析我們發(fā)現(xiàn)：會話幽默在同性別組和混合組中既有相同點也有不同點。闡述類幽默在各組別中高于其它類；在混合組中指令類幽默僅次于闡述類。男性在全男性群體中較常出現(xiàn)提問類幽默；而女性在混合組中才表現(xiàn)出此特點。除此以外,男女在同性別組中都更多地使用攻擊性幽默功能,而在混合組中出現(xiàn)的幽默則主要是發(fā)揮其維持和諧性的功能。最后,總結全文,同時也指出了本研究的局限性,并對未來研究提出了建議。
