A.S.拜厄特(1936—)是當(dāng)今英國(guó)最負(fù)盛名的女作家之一。小說(shuō)《占有》一經(jīng)出版,就立刻被評(píng)論界一致公認(rèn)為是拜厄特最為成功的作品,贏得了讀者的高度評(píng)價(jià)。在此作品中拜厄特通過(guò)塑造一系列的女性形象,表達(dá)了她對(duì)女性生存狀況的深切關(guān)注。本文采用女性主義文學(xué)批評(píng)理論對(duì)《占有》及拜厄特的寫作做了女性主義解讀,揭示父權(quán)制下女性真實(shí)的生活處境和生活經(jīng)歷以及拜厄特在創(chuàng)作中體現(xiàn)出的女性意識(shí)和女權(quán)思想。 本文共三章。第一章介紹作家、作品、文獻(xiàn)綜述、女性主義文學(xué)批評(píng)理論。第二章是本文的重點(diǎn)論述部分,重點(diǎn)分析了《占有》中的女性人物。通過(guò)對(duì)她們的外貌,居住環(huán)境,以及她們對(duì)待愛(ài)情,婚姻,孩子的態(tài)度及看法來(lái)揭示她們?cè)诟笝?quán)制社會(huì)中所遭受的限制與壓迫。拜厄特通過(guò)對(duì)這些女性人物的細(xì)致刻畫,展示了她的女性意識(shí)與女權(quán)思想。第三章是結(jié)論部分。通過(guò)對(duì)前文分析進(jìn)行綜述,指出這些女性形象的塑造不僅顯示了拜厄特對(duì)女性生存狀況的關(guān)心和女性主體意識(shí)覺(jué)醒的關(guān)注,而且也體現(xiàn)了她獨(dú)特的女性觀。
