《李爾王》被20世紀(jì)英國(guó)資深的莎學(xué)評(píng)論家布拉德利（A.C.Bradley）譽(yù)為莎翁四大悲劇中“最偉大的成就”,該劇深刻的主題和人文思想總能給不同時(shí)代的讀者和觀眾以心靈震撼。國(guó)內(nèi)外有關(guān)《李爾王》的評(píng)論涉獵文學(xué)、宗教、政治、哲學(xué)、舞臺(tái)藝術(shù)、語(yǔ)言學(xué)及心理學(xué)等諸多領(lǐng)域；議題廣泛,有從對(duì)宗教思想的探索到對(duì)女性主義的討論,從政治背景的反思到對(duì)人性的拷問(wèn)等等。本文正是在前人研究的背景下,通過(guò)采用描述和解釋相結(jié)合的定性研究方法,以語(yǔ)言學(xué)家韓禮德的系統(tǒng)功能語(yǔ)法中的人際功能為理論依據(jù),從語(yǔ)氣、情態(tài)和呼語(yǔ)三個(gè)方面對(duì)《李爾王》主要情節(jié)中人物之間的權(quán)勢(shì)關(guān)系變化進(jìn)行探析,旨在探討權(quán)勢(shì)關(guān)系變化在語(yǔ)言表現(xiàn)形式上的體現(xiàn),并進(jìn)一步揭示悲劇產(chǎn)生的原因。本文按主要情節(jié)的發(fā)展將劇本分為王國(guó)“分割前”與“分割后”兩個(gè)階段,通過(guò)對(duì)兩個(gè)階段主要人物的話語(yǔ)進(jìn)行具體分析和對(duì)比,發(fā)現(xiàn)人際功能框架下語(yǔ)言選擇的反差揭示了李爾與三個(gè)女兒間權(quán)勢(shì)關(guān)系的變化：王國(guó)“分割前”,在語(yǔ)氣分析中,命令和疑問(wèn)是李爾話語(yǔ)中突出的言語(yǔ)功能,三個(gè)女兒都未使用并給予期待的回應(yīng)；在情態(tài)分析中,帶有“強(qiáng)制”和“允許”意義的情態(tài)詞未被用于任何女兒的話語(yǔ)中；在呼語(yǔ)的分析中,親...
