對莫里森《寵兒》的生態(tài)女性主義解讀

【摘要】:托妮·莫里森(1931-),以多變的文學(xué)視角和豐碩的創(chuàng)作成果享譽(yù)世界文壇,并于1993年榮獲諾貝爾文學(xué)獎。托妮·莫里森的第五部小說《寵兒》一直是學(xué)者們關(guān)注的焦點。小說的故事情節(jié)取材于一個真實的歷史事件:一個名叫瑪格麗特·加納的女黑奴,攜子女從肯塔基的奴隸莊園逃到俄亥俄州的辛辛那提。奴隸主追蹤而至,為了不讓兒女再落入奴隸主的魔掌,她毅然扼殺了自己的孩子。 生態(tài)女性主義者挑戰(zhàn)一切父權(quán)制思想,并指出人類觀念中的人類中心主義二元論思想是導(dǎo)致對自然和有色人種的肆意掠奪和壓迫的根本原因,旨在呈現(xiàn)出一幅女人、自然、男人和一切存在形式和諧平等共生的畫面。 本文嘗試運(yùn)用生態(tài)女性主義的理論來剖析這部小說,挖掘小說中體現(xiàn)的生態(tài)女性主義思想。通過對文本的詳細(xì)分析來展現(xiàn)有色人種所遭受的苦難和建構(gòu)自我身份的過程。最終,在小說的結(jié)束時,他們尋找到了曾經(jīng)迷失的自我,,并且建立起人類與自然、男性與女性以及各色人種平等和諧共處的理想生存狀態(tài)。 本論文包括四部分:介紹、理論基礎(chǔ)、主要章節(jié)和結(jié)論。第一章簡要介紹了托妮·莫里森的生平及其作品,回顧了《寵兒》的研究情況并在此基礎(chǔ)上提出本論文的中心論題。第二章是整個論文的基礎(chǔ)理論部分。對生態(tài)女性主義理論做了簡要介紹,并對生態(tài)女性主義文學(xué)的主要觀點進(jìn)行梳理,為下文的具體分析提供理論指導(dǎo)。第三章主要寫黑人女性在白人社會里遭受失去自我身份的待遇,分析了黑人女性如何通過與自然的親密接觸以證明自己的身份來擺脫人類中心主義二元論思想對其壓迫與剝削,從而建立男人與女人、人與自然和諧共處的局面。第四章主要寫黑人男性遭受身體上和精神上的折磨,并闡述了在自然的指引下,黑人男性尋求自我,走向充滿自由與和諧之路的過程。第五章是論文結(jié)尾部分,總結(jié)了本論文的主要觀點并提出《寵兒》是生態(tài)女性主義文學(xué)批評理論的鮮活文本,還啟發(fā)人們努力建立一個和諧平等的社會。通過運(yùn)用生態(tài)女性主義的思想來研究《寵兒》這樣一部經(jīng)典作品,有利于為此作品的進(jìn)一步研究添磚加瓦,同時也為其他學(xué)者采用生態(tài)女性主義理論深入研究起到拋磚引玉的作用。
[Abstract]:Toni Morrison (1931 -) is famous in the world for her varied literary perspectives and rich literary achievements, and was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1993. Toni Morrison's fifth novel beloved has been the focus of scholars. The plot of the novel is based on a real historical event: a female slave named Margaret Garner, with her children, fled from slave estate in Kentucky to Cincinnati, Ohio. The slave owner followed and killed her child to stop her children from falling into the hands of the slave owner. Eco-feminists challenge all patriarchal ideas and point out that the anthropocentrism dualism in human concept is the root cause of the wanton plunder and oppression of nature and colored people, with the aim of presenting a picture of women, nature, and so on. A picture of men and all forms of existence in harmony and equality. This paper tries to use the theory of ecological feminism to analyze this novel and excavate the thought of ecological feminism embodied in the novel. Through the detailed analysis of the text to show the suffering of colored people and the process of self-identity. Finally, at the end of the novel, they found their lost self and established the ideal living state of human beings and nature, men and women, and all kinds of ethnic groups. This paper includes four parts: introduction, theoretical basis, main chapters and conclusions. The first chapter briefly introduces Toni Morrison's life and works, reviews the research of beloved and puts forward the central topic of this thesis. The second chapter is the basic theory of the whole paper. This paper briefly introduces the theory of ecological feminism, combs the main viewpoints of ecological feminist literature, and provides theoretical guidance for the concrete analysis below. The third chapter mainly describes the black women in the white society suffered the treatment of losing their identity, analyzes how black women through close contact with nature to prove their identity to get rid of the anthropocentrism dualism to its oppression and exploitation. Thus the establishment of men and women, man and nature harmonious coexistence. The fourth chapter mainly describes the black men suffered physical and mental torture, and explained that under the guidance of nature, black men seek themselves and move towards the road of freedom and harmony. The fifth chapter is the last part of the thesis, which summarizes the main points of this paper and points out that beloved is a living text of the ecological feminist literary criticism theory, and it also enlightens people to build a harmonious and equal society. By using the thought of ecological feminism to study such a classic work as beloved, it is helpful to further study this work. At the same time, it also plays an important role in the further study of ecological feminism.
