論聚斯金德《香水》之魅:透視人性的多重象征意蘊

【摘要】:德國著名作家帕特里克·聚斯金德的長篇小說《香水》問世于20世紀80年代中期,堪稱后現(xiàn)代德語小說的范例。《香水》令人驚訝地熔鑄了近代以來歐美文學(xué)的多種元素又創(chuàng)造性地凸顯了“嗅覺”美學(xué)特征,將傳統(tǒng)的文學(xué)敘事手法與后現(xiàn)代寫作技巧相糅合,以“氣味”作為可多重解碼的能指符號展開敘事,蘊含著豐贍的意義闡釋空間。 本文共分為三個部分展開論述。 第一部分試圖從德里達的解構(gòu)論角度闡釋“氣味”之后蘊含的多重意蘊,探析“香水”一詞蘊含的“香”與“毒”,美”與“罪”矛盾關(guān)系與解構(gòu)論理論張力。德里達的解構(gòu)理論顛覆了在場的形而上學(xué),將哲學(xué)思想引入了開放多元的新境界,“意義的不確定論”鼓勵我們突破任何自稱權(quán)威的意義闡釋,構(gòu)建更加寬容、自由和多元的新的意義框架,延緩意義的終極闡釋。解構(gòu)主義理論的觀照之下重讀經(jīng)典《香水》,可以讀到這樣一些“懸疑”:香與臭、神圣宗教與世俗欲望、罪與罰、視覺與嗅覺的融合等。這些對立的矛盾因素共同構(gòu)成特殊的張力,分解了傳統(tǒng)意義上的《香水》內(nèi)涵,生成了西方后現(xiàn)代主義解構(gòu)的美學(xué)價值體系,生成了一種新的文本意義。 第二部分結(jié)合文學(xué)人類學(xué)與精神分析理論方法,擇取《香水》中格雷諾耶在刑場上揮灑香水、萬人折服的戲劇化場景論析這一宗教儀式的反諷意蘊;以歐美精神分析詩學(xué)的欲望理論闡發(fā)《香水》的世俗意義,探討世俗欲望的個體、集體、文化無意識心理意蘊,從中探討出故事開端情節(jié)有關(guān)原罪與人性善惡的深刻蘊意及其背后折射的宗教觀念。 第三部分從對氣味的渴求與嗅覺出發(fā)聯(lián)系到作品中香水的種種超乎尋常的作用,從嗅覺美學(xué)角度分析文學(xué)形象,凸顯《香水》的嗅覺美學(xué)特征,從人性罪惡、法律及倫理道德等角度探討作品意蘊!断闼纷钜巳雱俚牡胤绞怯尚嵊X來展示美感受美,這種神秘的崇高體驗帶給我們更多的想象空間。雖然目前還沒有公認的嗅覺理論,但是聚斯金德將視線聚焦于鼻子這一嗅覺器官,通過主人公獨特的嗅覺體驗來體現(xiàn)文本的審美形態(tài),構(gòu)建獨特的“嗅覺美學(xué)”,關(guān)注嗅覺領(lǐng)域里所展示的美的本質(zhì)及其意義,獲得多重審美經(jīng)驗。 聚斯金德在傳承古典小說對于情節(jié)、人物等各項基本元素的要求同時,吸納了現(xiàn)代主義小說對于世界認知意義以及個體存在確認等方面的“哲學(xué)質(zhì)詢”,透過“氣味”這一題材的想象、夸張與放大,將一個有關(guān)嗅覺神話單一、表層的故事延展到氣味鏈以外的社會化、歷史化層面,以內(nèi)在意義的嚴肅支配外在形式的通俗,呈現(xiàn)出某種敘事和命運的邏輯。
[Abstract]:The famous German writer Patrick Juskind's novel Perfume was published in the mid-1980s. "Perfume" is an example of a postmodern German novel. "Perfume" amazingly melts many elements of European and American literature since modern times and creatively highlights the aesthetic characteristics of "smell", combining traditional literary narrative techniques with post-modern writing techniques. The "smell" is used as the multi-decode signifier to unfold the narration, which contains abundant space of meaning interpretation. This paper is divided into three parts. The first part tries to explain the connotation of "smell" from the perspective of Derrida's deconstruction theory, and analyzes the contradiction between "fragrance" and "poison", beauty and crime, and the theoretical tension of deconstruction theory. Derrida's deconstruction theory subverts the metaphysics of the presence, and introduces philosophy into a new realm of openness and pluralism. "the uncertainty of meaning" encourages us to break through any self-proclaimed authority of meaning interpretation and construct a more tolerant one. Freedom and pluralism of the new meaning framework, delay the ultimate interpretation of meaning. In the light of deconstruction theory, we can read some "suspense" from the classic "Perfume": fragrance and odor, sacred religion and secular desire, sin and punishment, the fusion of vision and smell, and so on. These contradictory factors together form a special tension, decompose the connotation of perfume in the traditional sense, create the aesthetic value system of the deconstruction of western postmodernism, and create a new text meaning. The second part combines the theoretical methods of literary anthropology and psychoanalysis and chooses the dramatic scene in Perfume to analyze the ironic implication of this religious ceremony. Using the desire theory of European and American psychoanalysis poetics to expound the secular meaning of Perfume, to probe into the psychological implication of individual, collective and cultural unconscious of secular desire. This paper discusses the profound implication of the original sin and human good and evil in the beginning of the story and the religious ideas reflected behind it. The third part starts from the desire for smell and smell to relate to the extraordinary functions of perfume in the works, analyzes the literary image from the angle of olfactory aesthetics, highlights the aesthetic characteristics of smell in Perfume, and from the perspective of human nature and vice, analyzes the image of literature from the point of view of olfactory aesthetics. The most fascinating part of Perfume is its sense of smell, which gives us more room for imagination. Although there is no universally accepted olfactory theory, but Justinger focuses his attention on the nose, which reflects the aesthetic form of the text through the protagonist's unique olfactory experience, and constructs a unique "olfactory aesthetics". Pay attention to the essence and significance of beauty in olfactory field and gain many aesthetic experiences. Juskinder inherits the request of the basic elements such as plot, character and so on in classical novels, at the same time, he absorbs the "philosophical inquiry" of modernist novels on the significance of world cognition and the confirmation of individual existence. Through the imagination, exaggeration and magnification of the subject matter of "smell", the story of a single sense of smell is extended beyond the scent chain to a socialized, historical level, within which the meaning of seriousness dominates the external form of popular, It presents some logic of narrative and destiny.
