【摘要】：弗朗西斯·霍奇森·伯內(nèi)特(1849-1924),英裔美國人,是19世紀(jì)末至20世紀(jì)初著名的女作家。她從18歲開始在雜志上發(fā)表故事,使其聞名于世的是她的代表作《秘密花園》,該書被譽(yù)為二十世紀(jì)最受歡迎、最具影響力的兒童文學(xué)經(jīng)典之作。它作為嚴(yán)肅的文學(xué)作品被收入牛津《世界經(jīng)典叢書》,并影響了兩位諾貝爾文學(xué)獎得主T.S.艾略特和D.H.勞倫斯的寫作風(fēng)格。該書自1911年出版以來,引起國內(nèi)外學(xué)者的廣泛關(guān)注,評論家從多個(gè)角度對這部作品進(jìn)行分析研究,如作品中的兒童成長教育、女性主義、概念隱喻、美學(xué)角度等。 本論文從生態(tài)批評角度出發(fā),結(jié)合魯樞元教授的“生態(tài)三分法”,分別從“人與自然”、“人與人”、“人與自我”三個(gè)層面來解讀《秘密花園》中人與自然關(guān)系的轉(zhuǎn)變,探索這三種關(guān)系之間的關(guān)聯(lián)性和因果性,揭示作品所蘊(yùn)含的生態(tài)意義。 本文首先介紹了伯內(nèi)特的親近自然性,尤其表現(xiàn)在她對花園的喜愛,在她的筆下,花園不僅僅是孩子的美好純真世界、女性的獨(dú)立空間,更是人們的精神伊甸園。伯內(nèi)特的自然觀契合了生態(tài)批評理論的核心觀點(diǎn)：人應(yīng)該如何正確對待自然。接著,本文運(yùn)用生態(tài)批評理論和魯樞元教授“生態(tài)三分法”,論述了作品中生態(tài)不和諧的三個(gè)方面：人與自然的隔閡、人與人之間的冷漠、人性的自我迷失,并由此進(jìn)一步剖析造成生態(tài)不和諧的深層次原因。在此基礎(chǔ)上,本文剖析了作品重建生態(tài)的追求,即通過回歸自然、關(guān)愛他人、自我覺醒等途徑,重新建立起和諧的生態(tài)家園；并揭示了該作品蘊(yùn)含的生態(tài)啟示,即：人們?nèi)谌氪笞匀?感受大自然帶來的變化,人與人之間跨越身份的限制,學(xué)會尊重他人關(guān)愛他人,自我迷失的人們在自然和愛的感召下,通過自我意識的覺醒,克服自身的性格缺陷,最終達(dá)到身心健康。本文指出伯內(nèi)特所提倡的人們重返自然的途徑,實(shí)質(zhì)是受愛默生的“超自然主義”的影響,流露出思想上一定的局限性。 《秘密花園》不僅是一部優(yōu)秀的兒童小說,更是給人們帶來心靈啟迪的生態(tài)小說。在生態(tài)環(huán)境破壞日益嚴(yán)重的今天,人類應(yīng)該采取積極行動,為人類的生存和發(fā)展做出努力。
[Abstract]:Frances Hodgson Burnett, British-American, was a famous female writer from late 19th century to early 20th century. She began publishing stories in magazines at the age of 18. Her masterpiece, the Secret Garden, is known as the most popular in 20th century. The most influential classic of children's literature. It was included as a serious literary work in the Oxford World Classic Series and influenced the writing styles of two Nobel laureates T. S. Eliot and D. H. Lawrence since its publication in 1911. Scholars at home and abroad have paid close attention to this work, and critics have studied it from a variety of angles, such as child growth education, feminism, conceptual metaphor, aesthetics and so on. From the angle of ecological criticism, combined with Professor Lu Shuyuan's "ecological three-point method", this paper interprets the transformation of the relationship between man and nature from the three aspects of "man and nature", "man and man" and "man and self". This paper explores the relationship and causality of the three relationships and reveals the ecological significance of the works. This paper first introduces Burnett's closeness to nature, especially in her love of the garden. In her writings, the garden is not only a beautiful and innocent world for children, but also an independent space for women. It's also the spirit of Eden. Burnett's view of nature fits in with the core point of ecological criticism: how people should treat nature correctly. Based on the theory of ecological criticism and Professor Lu Shuyuan's "ecological three-point method", this paper discusses three aspects of ecological disharmony in his works: the estrangement between man and nature, the apathy between man and man, and the loss of human nature. On the basis of this, the author analyzes the pursuit of reconstructing ecology, that is, through returning to nature, caring for others, self-awakening and so on, the harmonious ecological home is re-established. It also reveals the ecological implications of this work, that is, people are integrated into nature, feel the changes brought about by nature, transcend the limits of identity between people, learn to respect others and care for others, and people who are lost in themselves are inspired by nature and love. Through the awakening of self-consciousness, we can overcome their own personality defects and finally achieve physical and mental health. This paper points out that the way that people return to nature, advocated by Burnett, is essentially influenced by Emerson's "hypernaturalism". Revealing certain limitations in thought. Secret Garden is not only an excellent children's novel, but also an ecological novel which brings inspiration to people. Nowadays, when the ecological environment is destroyed more and more seriously, human beings should take active actions to make efforts for the survival and development of human beings.
