The education should include aspects on succeeding, carrying on, arranging, improving and so on. For the purpose of promoting the carrying out of TCM continuing education universally and deeply, the aim and task, objective and requirement for post responsibility, the way of credit evaluation, cheecking-up and examination in the field of TCM continuing education were discussed.

中醫(yī)專業(yè)的CME,基于中醫(yī)的特點(diǎn),一些方面應(yīng)有別于西醫(yī),它應(yīng)包括挖掘、繼承、整理、提高等部份,本文分別對中醫(yī)(藥、護(hù))CME的目的與任務(wù);對象與崗位職務(wù)要求;內(nèi)容與學(xué)分授予方法;考試、考核等進(jìn)行了探討,旨在促進(jìn)中醫(yī)CME的普遍、深入開展。

Translation in medical terminology was a subject the medical missionaries encountered in China.The medical missionaries had done a lot of useful work in standardizing medical terms.Their work impelled the spread and development of Western medicine in China.It also laid a foundation for the uniformity of medical nomenclature.Unfortunately,this complex task was far beyond the reach of medical missionaries and had to leave it to those Chinese physicians who were well educated in modern medicine.

西方醫(yī)學(xué)傳入后，醫(yī)學(xué)名詞翻譯的統(tǒng)一是一個(gè)亟待解決的問題。傳教士醫(yī)生在醫(yī)學(xué)名詞統(tǒng)一中做了許多有益的工作，，促進(jìn)了西醫(yī)在我國的傳播，同時(shí)也為我國醫(yī)學(xué)工作者統(tǒng)一醫(yī)學(xué)名詞的工作奠定了一定的基礎(chǔ)。然而，醫(yī)學(xué)名詞統(tǒng)一這項(xiàng)艱巨復(fù)雜的任務(wù)是傳教士醫(yī)生們所難以完成的，這一重任留給了受過現(xiàn)代醫(yī)學(xué)教育的中國醫(yī)生們。

It is not only reasonable but also necessary to determine the scientific position of medicine. With the development of society and science, the following matters become more and more apparent: the negligence of cultural spirit in society, the inadequacy of medical education and the structure of professional personnel and westernization of Chinese traditional medicine . These matters made people carry on medical research in a deeper and broader way so that cultural position of medicine could gradually be set...

It is not only reasonable but also necessary to determine the scientific position of medicine. With the development of society and science, the following matters become more and more apparent: the negligence of cultural spirit in society, the inadequacy of medical education and the structure of professional personnel and westernization of Chinese traditional medicine . These matters made people carry on medical research in a deeper and broader way so that cultural position of medicine could gradually be set up as a supplement to scientific position of medicine. This phenomenon is compatible to the contemporary trend from seperation of science and fine arts to the communication between the two . It is also the outcome of the extention of medicine to the field of social culture. This problem induces us to reflect on the essence and objective of medicine from the cultural perspective and in this way we shall have some new views,for instance,the western medicine and Chinese traditional medicine should complement each other, but cannot be combined into one subject.

醫(yī)學(xué)的科技定位有其必然性和合理性。隨著社會(huì)和科技的發(fā)展,也暴露出對人文精神的忽視;醫(yī)學(xué)科學(xué)和人才結(jié)構(gòu)的偏狹;中醫(yī)西醫(yī)化等問題。這些問題促使人們對醫(yī)學(xué)進(jìn)行更廣闊更深入的研究,逐步形成醫(yī)學(xué)的文化定位,作為科技定位的補(bǔ)充。這與當(dāng)代科學(xué)文化和人文文化從分裂走向交流的趨勢是合拍的,也是醫(yī)學(xué)自身拓展到社會(huì)文化領(lǐng)域的結(jié)果。它啟迪我們從文化的角度去思考醫(yī)學(xué)的本質(zhì)和目的,得出一些新的看法,例如中西醫(yī)要取長補(bǔ)短,但不能合而為一。
