華裔美國女作家作品中的文化身份演變

  生活在兩種文化碰撞交融之間的華裔美國作家本身有著非常獨(dú)特的文化身份,他們在不同文化之間不斷協(xié)商自己的身份認(rèn)同,也正因?yàn)榇?他們的視角和寫作本質(zhì)上體現(xiàn)了文化間性。由此,本論文把華裔美國文學(xué)置于跨文化文學(xué)中來探討。湯婷婷、譚恩美和任璧蓮是華裔美國文學(xué)領(lǐng)域中的杰出代表,她們的作品都取得了巨大成功。本論文選取了湯婷婷的《女勇士》(1976),譚恩美的《喜福會》(1989),任璧蓮的《典型的美國人》(1991)和《莫娜在希望之鄉(xiāng)》(1996)展開文本分析。后殖民研究理論和跨文化研究理論組成了本論文的跨學(xué)科理論框架;谠摾碚摽蚣芟碌奈谋痉治,本論文試圖考察和分析華裔美國女作家作品中的文化身份演變,包括兩層:一是華裔美國女作家作品中主要人物的文化身份演變,二是通過這些代表作品反映出來的華裔美國女作家自身的文化身份演變。本論文的論點(diǎn)是華裔美國女作家作品中的文化身份演變大致都經(jīng)歷了從單一身份認(rèn)同到雙文化身份認(rèn)同。此外,湯婷婷和任璧蓮的作品還進(jìn)一步探尋了跨文化身份認(rèn)同,其中,任璧蓮和她的作品最具代表性。華裔美國女作家擺脫固定單一的文化身份認(rèn)同的束縛,步步演進(jìn),繼而開始認(rèn)識和接受文化身份的流動性、靈活性和...
