阿瑟·米勒作為20世紀(jì)蜚聲劇壇的戲劇大師,在當(dāng)代美國(guó)戲劇界執(zhí)牛耳長(zhǎng)達(dá)數(shù)年,其作品大多關(guān)注戰(zhàn)后美國(guó)資本主義發(fā)展帶來(lái)的諸多社會(huì)問題。《推銷員之死》是米勒最著名的悲劇作品,也是戰(zhàn)后美國(guó)劇壇的扛鼎之作。在創(chuàng)作《推銷員之死》時(shí),正值資本主義景觀社會(huì)的發(fā)展時(shí)期,米勒聚焦被城市景觀所包圍的普通群眾的生存發(fā)展問題,巧妙地將戲劇中主人公威利·洛曼一家的悲劇性命運(yùn)與景觀的在場(chǎng)直接聯(lián)系起來(lái)。景觀不僅是戲劇發(fā)生的幾何空間,還是戲劇主題的重要表征媒介�！锻其N員之死》是一部由景觀引發(fā)的故事,威利·洛曼一家的一生都與其所在區(qū)域的棱角分明的公寓景觀、一維封閉的房屋景觀以及寸草不生的后花園景觀有著緊密的聯(lián)系。鑒于此,本文聚焦戲劇中的三大景觀,運(yùn)用文學(xué)地理學(xué)理論,通過(guò)分析景觀作為當(dāng)代資本主義生產(chǎn)方式的視覺映像對(duì)社群關(guān)系、家庭關(guān)系以及人與自然關(guān)系所建構(gòu)的在場(chǎng)性影響與意義,揭示戲劇中景觀的悲劇內(nèi)涵,從而闡釋洛曼一家生存困境的深層機(jī)理,以期引發(fā)人們對(duì)當(dāng)今景觀社會(huì)的重要思考。論文主要包括引言、正文和結(jié)論三個(gè)部分。引言部分討論了文學(xué)地理學(xué)的發(fā)展機(jī)遇;剖析了米勒對(duì)當(dāng)代城市景觀與人的生存關(guān)系的極大關(guān)注,以及《推銷員之死》的創(chuàng)作背景和主...
