喬伊斯·卡羅爾·歐茨是美國當(dāng)代極富盛名的杰出女作家,代表作品繁多,涉及不同的文學(xué)題材。她的小說結(jié)合社會時(shí)代特點(diǎn),譜寫出了美國當(dāng)代的一幅全景圖�！毒蚰谷说呐畠骸肥菤W茨2007年的一部新作,作品主要描述一個猶太裔家族在美國的生存困境和奮斗歷程。本文以社會歷史語境為研究背景,從新歷史主義理論的視角對《掘墓人的女兒》進(jìn)行解讀,采用逐層遞進(jìn)的方式進(jìn)行闡釋,從而挖掘出作品的深層含義,揭示文本中的族裔社會問題。本論文由五部分組成,緒論部分對作家歐茨及作品《掘墓人的女兒》進(jìn)行簡要的介紹、梳理關(guān)于歐茨作品的國內(nèi)外研究狀況,并對論文的結(jié)構(gòu)安排進(jìn)行陳述。第一章首先介紹新歷史主義理論的發(fā)展及其理論內(nèi)涵,梳理了該理論的兩位主要代表人物路易斯·蒙特羅斯和格林布拉特的理論觀點(diǎn)。路易斯·蒙特羅斯提出的歷史與文本的互文性理論,從一個新穎的角度揭示出文本與歷史的日趨接近的關(guān)系,從而對二者之間的關(guān)系進(jìn)行了不同的詮釋,揭示出文本具有歷史記錄的特點(diǎn)。此外,格林布拉特的“顛覆”、“抑制”、“協(xié)和”理論,闡述了新歷史主義的范疇下文學(xué)所特有的社會功能。以上理論都為該小說中的猶太族裔完成自己的歷史性重建提供了足夠有力的理論支撐。第二章...
