　　西奧多·德萊塞（Theodore Dreiser,1871—1945）是美國(guó)二十世紀(jì)一位杰出的自然主義文學(xué)巨匠,他既是美國(guó)文壇的開拓者又是創(chuàng)新者,他的作品以寫實(shí)而著稱,并以大膽而誠(chéng)實(shí)的筆觸還原了美國(guó)社會(huì)的本來(lái)面目�？v觀德萊塞的整個(gè)文學(xué)創(chuàng)作,我們不難發(fā)現(xiàn)倫理問題一直是其作品關(guān)注的焦點(diǎn),同時(shí)也深化了其作品的主題,因而將德萊塞的作品視為文學(xué)試驗(yàn)場(chǎng)來(lái)探討其中的倫理問題有著不可忽視的文學(xué)價(jià)值�！队壳芬允攀兰o(jì)末芝加哥鐵路大亨查爾斯·基耶斯的生平為原型創(chuàng)作而成,是德萊塞的代表作之一,全篇共包括三卷,以其主人公法蘭克·阿吉龍·柯帕烏傳奇般的發(fā)家史以及幾乎與之并行的情愛史為主線大膽地揭露了十九世紀(jì)末二十世紀(jì)初處于轉(zhuǎn)型期的美國(guó)社會(huì)的方方面面,其中也散布了德萊塞關(guān)于社會(huì)轉(zhuǎn)型期所浮現(xiàn)的倫理道德問題的思考。誠(chéng)然,對(duì)于《欲望三部曲》中的倫理問題國(guó)內(nèi)外已有學(xué)者做出過研究,然而本文是立足于一個(gè)新的角度,以詹姆斯·費(fèi)倫的敘事倫理為理論基礎(chǔ),從《欲望三部曲》中節(jié)選三個(gè)與主題相關(guān)的問題進(jìn)行倫理探討,即探索敘事文本中各方的倫理是如何在敘事過程中建構(gòu)起來(lái)的,以此來(lái)為德萊塞作品的研究提供一個(gè)新的視角,并借此揭示德萊塞作...
