【摘要】：想象一個理想的共同體是任何時代優(yōu)秀作家的偉大傳統(tǒng)。19世紀英國文壇的共同體沖動針對的是機械文明及其滋生的無序的文化生態(tài)。這一時期重要作家查爾斯·金斯利的小說《向西去啊!》探索的便是共同體秩序的重建。小說的切入點是婚姻,平民英雄艾姆亞斯"英雄救美"的三次出海活動昭示著秩序的瓦解和重建,其中女主人公羅斯的婚戀悲劇勾勒出工業(yè)文明擴張后搖搖欲墜的傳統(tǒng)婚姻秩序,女主人公阿薩卡諾拉成為英國淑女的重生預(yù)示著共同體秩序的重建。小說中的船既是英格蘭民族的象征又是有機共同體的縮影,航行中激活的倫理道德、心智培育、民族良心、審美趣味、民族特性等等,都是維系理想共同體的紐帶。
[Abstract]:Imagining an ideal Community is the Great tradition of excellent Writers of any time. The Community impulse of the 19th century British literary world is directed against the mechanical civilization and the disorder of cultural ecology. Kingsley's novel goes westward! The breakthrough point of the novel is marriage, and the "heroic rescue of beauty" of the common hero Aimas shows the collapse and reconstruction of order. Among them, the heroine Rose's love and marriage tragedy sketches out the traditional marriage order after the expansion of industrial civilization. The rebirth of the heroine Asakanora as a British lady heralds the re-establishment of the community order. The ship in the novel is not only the symbol of the English nation but also the epitome of the organic community. Aesthetic taste, national characteristics and so on, are the bonds to maintain the ideal community.
