譯者既是翻譯活動(dòng)的主體,也是翻譯研究的主體,但目前譯者的地位仍普遍偏低。雖然最近三十年來(lái)翻譯理論研究發(fā)展迅速,但對(duì)特定翻譯家的翻譯思想?yún)s少有系統(tǒng)深入的研究。對(duì)特定翻譯家的翻譯思想進(jìn)行系統(tǒng)深入地研究是當(dāng)前進(jìn)行翻譯理論研究一個(gè)新的切入點(diǎn)。不斷累積各翻譯名家具有真知灼見(jiàn)的翻譯思想有利于翻譯理論這座宏偉大廈的早日落成和完善。蕭乾是中國(guó)現(xiàn)代著名翻譯家、作家、記者。雖然蕭乾認(rèn)為自己“并非職業(yè)翻譯家”,常自謙為翻譯領(lǐng)域的“游擊戰(zhàn)士”,“半外行”,但是他在翻譯方面所取得的成就卻是令世人所矚目的,其中最具代表性的就是他和文潔若合譯的《尤利西斯》。目前對(duì)蕭乾的研究過(guò)分偏重于文學(xué)研究領(lǐng)域,對(duì)他翻譯的研究也集中在對(duì)其個(gè)別翻譯作品的分析上,少有人全面總結(jié)他的翻譯思想。本文認(rèn)為蕭乾是一位一流的翻譯家,對(duì)翻譯有著獨(dú)特的看法,其在翻譯方面取得的成就證明其翻譯思想極具價(jià)值。本文以蕭乾有關(guān)翻譯的言論及其翻譯實(shí)踐為研究對(duì)象,以他的文集、回憶錄、信件、譯作集以及其它有關(guān)蕭乾翻譯的研究和評(píng)論為研究材料,認(rèn)真細(xì)致地分析梳理其翻譯思想并進(jìn)行系統(tǒng)地總結(jié)。本文發(fā)現(xiàn)蕭乾的文學(xué)翻譯觀系統(tǒng)全面,他的翻譯思想不僅涵蓋了對(duì)翻譯整個(gè)過(guò)程的思考,也...
