語篇中一詞多義現象的認知識解

自古希臘開始,語言的意義問題就被哲學家所關注。哲學家們開始探討意義從何而來,又何以如此,并關注形意之間的關系。因此在探究語言的兩千多年里,有關意義的理論不斷出現,逐步加深人們對語言意義的認識,然而對語言意義問題的研究依然沒有得到圓滿的解決。有關一詞多義的研究不僅關注語言形式和意義的關系,而且探討某一形式所包含的各意義間的關系,這一研究能夠對形意關系研究提供有益啟示。語言的主要詞匯都具有多義性,即使單義詞在一定語境中也會是多義的,因此,對一詞多義的考察必然要涉及到對詞以及詞義的研究。一般認為,詞是音義的結合體,語音形式組成了語言詞匯的形式,意義使得語言詞匯具有不同的功能。某一詞在其產生時是單義的、任意的符號,然而詞匯不是靜止不變的,由于人的因素以及語言形式天然具有向著多義發(fā)展的趨勢,這種一詞多義現象不但是社會語篇的要求,也是人類認知思維的慣性使然。一詞多義現象也已經成為語言系統的一種普遍現象,而對于一詞多義的研究能夠深化人們對形意關系的認識。以往對一詞多義現象的研究大多針對多義詞各意義產生的內在動因以及意義擴展的形式進行研究,并形成了三大語言研究傳統:歷史——語文的傳統語義研究、結構主義...
