【摘要】：一般認(rèn)為,"信達(dá)雅"乃嚴(yán)復(fù)一人在《天演論》"譯例言"中提出。本文通過(guò)史料的挖掘和梳理,對(duì)"信達(dá)雅"的形成過(guò)程進(jìn)行了全新解讀。研究發(fā)現(xiàn),"信達(dá)雅"的形成主要經(jīng)歷了三個(gè)階段:嚴(yán)復(fù)首先在《天演論》手稿的"譯例"中提出"求達(dá)"觀,接著在吳汝綸的"贊助"和呂增祥的"署檢"下進(jìn)一步提出"信""雅"觀,最后在總結(jié)"述"的翻譯經(jīng)驗(yàn)的基礎(chǔ)上凝練成了"信達(dá)雅"觀。因此,"信達(dá)雅"的提出非嚴(yán)復(fù)一己之功,亦非嚴(yán)復(fù)一蹴而就,而是以嚴(yán)復(fù)為中心,嚴(yán)、吳、呂等多方互動(dòng)不斷演進(jìn)的結(jié)果,是多人智慧的結(jié)晶。
[Abstract]:It is generally believed that "Cinda elegance" is proposed by Yan Fu in the translation of Tian Yan. This article through the historical data excavation and combing, has carried on the brand-new interpretation to the formation process of Xindaya. It is found that the formation of Xindaya mainly goes through three stages: Yan Fu first put forward the concept of "seeking to reach" in the translation of the manuscripts of "the Theory of Heaven". Then, under Wu Ru-lun 's sponsorship and Lu Zengxiang's "check", he put forward the "letter" and "elegance" view, and finally condensed into "Cinda elegant" view on the basis of summing up the translation experience of "Shuo". Therefore, the proposition of "Xindaya" is not a contribution of Yan Fu, nor an overnight achievement of Yan Fu. Instead, it is the result of continuous evolution of interactions between Yan, Wu, Lu and so on, which is the crystallization of many people's wisdom.
