【摘要】：法庭上口譯員扮演的角色究竟是"公正的翻譯機(jī)器式的口譯員"還是"語(yǔ)言文化橋梁式的口譯員"?本文從行為標(biāo)準(zhǔn)、普通法準(zhǔn)則、辯護(hù)譯員、移民新潮等幾個(gè)角度全面介紹和界定了美國(guó)法庭口譯員的角色和職能。司法行業(yè)需要關(guān)注語(yǔ)言文化現(xiàn)象,更要關(guān)注口譯過(guò)程的復(fù)雜性。法庭不能對(duì)司法口譯員的角色施以機(jī)械式的管理模式,因?yàn)?口譯員不僅是跨越語(yǔ)言障礙的交流工具,他們還應(yīng)該是自由的、能夠積極掌控溝通交流過(guò)程的,是以人類互動(dòng)和跨文化交流專家身份從事職業(yè)化工作的專業(yè)人士。
[Abstract]:Is the role played by interpreters in court "just and machine-style interpreters" or "interpreters of the bridge of language and culture"?This paper comprehensively introduces and defines the roles and functions of American court interpreters in terms of standards of conduct, common law norms, defence interpreters, and immigration trends.The judicial profession needs to pay attention to the phenomenon of language and culture, but also to the complexity of interpretation process.The court cannot impose a mechanical management model on the role of judicial interpreters, because interpreters are not only tools of communication across the language barrier, they should also be free and able to actively control the communication process.Is a human interaction and cross-cultural exchanges as experts engaged in professional work professionals.
