語篇連貫分析一直是語言學(xué)領(lǐng)域研究中的重點(diǎn)。以框架語義學(xué)的理論為指導(dǎo),本文舉例闡明Halliday和Hasan的四種語法手段如照應(yīng)、替代、省略和連接無法從語言層面上解釋某些語篇連貫現(xiàn)象,需要在認(rèn)知層面上尋找答案。框架語義學(xué)認(rèn)為語篇中的詞語代表了人類經(jīng)驗(yàn)的概念化,它為人類理解整個(gè)語篇提供了背景知識(shí),通過將詞匯意義與背景知識(shí)的融合,最后語篇可以在認(rèn)知層面上取得意義連貫。本文試圖從認(rèn)知角度來彌補(bǔ)其他語篇連貫理論的不足,并為今后從認(rèn)知層面上研究語篇連貫提供借鑒。
