傳統(tǒng)的翻譯理論從文本對比以及語言信息轉換角度出發(fā),以求在不同語言現(xiàn)象中達到對等,卻忽視翻譯過程中譯者的主觀能動作用。隨著二十世紀八十年代西方翻譯理論中“文化轉向”的出現(xiàn)和迅速發(fā)展,翻譯研究進入了一個新的發(fā)展階段。翻譯研究從過去的以原作或原作者為中心,強調對原文或原作者的絕對忠實轉移到以研究動態(tài)的翻譯過程為中心,開始由傳統(tǒng)的語言層面轉換,跨越到把翻譯放到社會、歷史、文化等之中去研究。因此,作為翻譯過程主體的譯者越來越受到翻譯理論家們的重視。另一方面,目前我國對政治演講翻譯的研究并不多,從譯者主體性角度對其所作的研究更是少之又少。大多數翻譯理論家將絕對忠實放在了政治演講翻譯的首位。然而,即使是在政治演講這一領域,譯者作為翻譯的主體之一的重要作用也是不容忽視的。本文通過對譯者主體性理論的探討以及對政治演講翻譯個案的分析發(fā)現(xiàn),譯者的隱身是不可能的。為了實現(xiàn)特定的翻譯目的,譯者必須充分發(fā)揮主觀能動性,對原文進行操縱,包括在詞匯、句法等層面表達方式的選擇、翻譯策略的選擇以及創(chuàng)造性叛逆的運用。與此同時,譯者要兼顧與原文作者、譯文接受者、翻譯贊助者等其它翻譯主體的關系。除此之外,譯者主觀能動性的發(fā)揮還...
