【摘要】：這篇論文試圖從中國傳統(tǒng)哲學,即道學和儒學,的角度來比較美國作家梭羅與中國詩人陶淵明。這兩位作家雖然來自于不同的國家,處于不同的時代和文化背景下,但他們的生活方式和思想都同時具有道學和儒學的特點。這些特點也反映在他們各自的文學作品當中。 道學和儒學是中國歷史上最具影響力的兩個哲學流派。 道學的主要觀點包括:“道”和“德”的概念;“無為”;萬物平等;動靜結合;“棄智”;“小國寡民”等。 儒學所提倡的主要是:“仁”;“克己復禮”;尊重現(xiàn)有規(guī)則和法律制度;提高自身修養(yǎng)和精神境界;積極參與社會生活;個人的行為要符合其所處的社會地位等。 這兩種哲學同時存在于梭羅和陶淵明的作品當中。 他們共有的道學特征包括:熱愛自然;崇尚簡樸的生活;向往自由;“無為”的政治主張。 然而道學并不是這兩位作家所共有的唯一的中國哲學思想。儒家思想在他們的作品當中也很明顯。他們積極向上的人生態(tài)度和對國家政治生活的積極參與正是儒家所提倡的。 論文從道學和儒學的角度來比較梭羅與陶淵明的共同點。以上是對論文基本思想的和主要內(nèi)容的概括。
[Abstract]:This paper attempts to compare American writer Thoreau with Chinese poet Tao Yuanming from the point of view of traditional Chinese philosophy, that is, Taoism and Confucianism. Although these two writers come from different countries, in different times and cultural backgrounds, their ways of life and thoughts have the characteristics of Taoism and Confucianism at the same time. These characteristics are also reflected in their respective literary works. Taoism and Confucianism are the two most influential schools of philosophy in Chinese history. The main viewpoints of Taoism include: the concept of "Tao" and "virtue"; "inaction"; equality of all things; combination of static and dynamic; "abandoning wisdom"; "small country and outnumbering people" and so on. The main ideas advocated by Confucianism are: benevolence; retribution to others; respect for existing rules and legal system; improvement of self-cultivation and spiritual state; active participation in social life; and individual behavior in accordance with their social status. These two philosophies exist in the works of Thoreau and Tao Yuanming. Their common characteristics of Taoism include: love of nature; respect for simple life; yearning for freedom; and political views of inaction. However, Taoism is not the only Chinese philosophical thought shared by these two writers. Confucianism is also evident in their works. Their positive attitude and active participation in national political life are advocated by Confucianism. This paper compares the similarities between Thoreau and Tao Yuanming from the point of view of Taoism and Confucianism. The above is the summary of the basic ideas and main contents of the thesis.
