由于受到后結(jié)構(gòu)主義和解構(gòu)思潮的影響，傳統(tǒng)的文學(xué)批評（或文本批評）在上個(gè)世紀(jì)七十年代中期以后逐漸被一種意義更為寬泛的文化批評所取代。而對�？思{與種族、性別和階級的批評就是當(dāng)代文化研究與批評的一個(gè)范例，并且取得了很多的成果，不斷地改變著我們對福克納以及�？思{與種族的理解和認(rèn)識。 在對�？思{與種族的研究中，一般認(rèn)為，福克納文本中的黑人是白人想象和虛構(gòu)的產(chǎn)物，是南方主流文化之外的“他者”。他們沒有地位，話語權(quán)，經(jīng)濟(jì)上受壓迫，是種族主義的受害者。而且“種族”本身不是一個(gè)穩(wěn)定的能指，相反，它也是南方文化的建構(gòu)和話語實(shí)踐的結(jié)果，是白人用來維持其對黑人的控制和霸權(quán)的手段和策略。 本文寫作的基本意圖就是把福克納筆下的混血兒形象放到當(dāng)下有關(guān)�？思{與種族的討論和批評話語中去研究，即在南方具體的歷史文化語境中分析�？思{小說中的主要混血兒人物形象的特征，特別是他們獨(dú)特的生命體驗(yàn)，即對自己種族身份的焦慮和他們的悲慘命運(yùn)，以及這種身份焦慮之所以產(chǎn)生和悲劇命運(yùn)之所形成的深刻社會歷史原因。并試圖以混血兒問題為契機(jī)對現(xiàn)代性和啟蒙理性展開反思，從而推進(jìn)�？思{的種族批評與研究。 在國內(nèi)�？思{的批評與研究當(dāng)中...
