[Abstract]:For a long time, Christian culture has influenced and restricted the formation and development of its literature as a social background in the West. Faulkner, an American writer, has long lived in the southern American society where Calvinism is the core of Protestantism, and the family also believes in traditional Christianity. Living and creating in such an environment, Faulkner's thoughts and novels were inevitably deeply influenced by Christian culture.
