[Abstract]:This article will focus on the theme of cultural reconciliation to emphasize that for Chinese-Americans and those who experience cultural conflict, Reconciliation is the only solution. The Joy Luck Club tells the story of the conflict and reconciliation between the four Chinese daughters and their Chinese immigrant mothers. Born in the United States and educated entirely Americanized, the four daughters are more inclined to American culture and values. They strive to integrate into American society, but because of the exclusion of Chinese immigrants in the mainstream of the United States, they are marginalized, and it is very difficult for them to integrate into the mainstream culture of American society, and at the same time, They can not understand the true meaning of Chinese culture, and the double cultural identity between Chinese and American culture makes them full of confusion, and they face the problem of identity crisis. In addition to the identity crisis, because of the conflict between Chinese and Western cultures, they are faced with other problems: as daughters, they and their mothers are full of contradictions and conflicts, unable to really communicate with their mothers, thus leading to the existence of aphasia. As wives, they had a sense of inferiority in front of their white American husbands, leading to an unhappy marriage. Fortunately, seeing their daughters' misfortune, mothers began to break the silence and use their wisdom to help their daughters realize their value and become self-reliant. While accepting the mother's advice, the daughters began to understand the true meaning of Chinese culture and to achieve reconciliation between Chinese and western cultures. In fact, Amy Tan's "Joy Luck Club" since the publication of the cause of the extraordinary response, but also because it provides a way out for Chinese Americans. Under the influence of double culture, they were neither real Chinese nor real Americans, so they were confused and conflicted. But the Joy Luck made them realize that cultural reconciliation can help them reconstruct their identity, a mixture of Chinese and American culture. Therefore, this paper will focus on the theme of cultural reconciliation to emphasize that reconciliation is the only solution for Chinese Americans and those who suffer from cultural conflicts. In this paper, the theme of cultural conflict and reconciliation in the Joy Luck Club is discussed from the perspective of symbolic symbols, so as to reveal that reconciliation can be achieved under all kinds of contradictions and conflicts. Roland Bart, a French semiotic, believes that the many myths in life are hidden and undiscovered because they do not appear to be anything special. They need to be analyzed in detail by semiotics. (Cobley Jansz44) in the Joy Luck Club, the author does not point directly at the conflict between Chinese and Western cultures, but uses different symbolic symbols to emphasize the conflicts between Chinese and Western cultures in all aspects. Without deciphering these symbols, it is impossible to find out what aspects of the conflict between Chinese and Western cultures the mother and daughter are facing in the novel. At the same time, the reconciliation of cultural conflicts is also reflected by symbols. Therefore, on the one hand, the purpose of this paper is to reveal the root of all kinds of contradictions between Chinese and Western Americans, namely, the conflict between Chinese and Western cultures, on the other hand, to explore how the conflicts between Chinese and Western cultures can achieve reconciliation in symbols. Finally, it is concluded that reconciliation is the only way out for Chinese Americans. The first chapter of this paper will show all aspects of the cultural conflict between China and the West through the analysis of symbolic symbols. In the second chapter, the aphasia and identity loss caused by the conflict between Chinese and Western cultures are discussed. At the same time, the aphasia and identity loss are emphasized by deciphering the relevant symbols. The third chapter emphasizes that cultural reconciliation is the solution to cultural conflict by analyzing symbolic symbols.
