高羅佩的《大唐狄公案》里的中國形象

【摘要】:近現(xiàn)代以來,西方文學(xué)藝術(shù)里反反復(fù)復(fù)出現(xiàn)“中國形象”,對西方人來說,中國是一個永恒的值得探討的話題。中國形象的變遷也折射了西方人對異國的理解和意識。特別是19世紀(jì)末20世紀(jì)初以來,因為世界政治格局的變化,中國,這個曾經(jīng)的“天朝上國”被迫卷入了世界紛爭的浪潮,中國的封閉保守的統(tǒng)治體制被完全打破。在這種形勢下,中西方的文化交流加強了,文化沖突也凸顯出來了,具體就表現(xiàn)在當(dāng)時來華的西方人的作品中。而作為一個對東方文化充滿向往的普通的西方人高羅佩,在1949年至1967年期間,相繼創(chuàng)作出中國題材的偵探系列小說,統(tǒng)稱為《大唐狄公案》。這部小說集是高氏在中外探案小說的影響下,根據(jù)自己的中國文化知識,,發(fā)揮想象演繹而成的成果。這部以生活于中國封建社會鼎盛時期—唐朝的狄仁杰為主角虛構(gòu)的小說向讀者展示了作者心目中的中國。此書出版以來引起了廣泛關(guān)注。 國內(nèi)外對高羅佩及其作品的研究主要表現(xiàn)在對其學(xué)術(shù)研究的介紹,或是從法律、刑偵、中西方文化差別等角度分析高羅佩的系列作品,而本論文將在對高羅佩小說研究已經(jīng)形成的基礎(chǔ)上,從形象學(xué)的角度來解讀探究其作品里的中國形象等等是如何生成的,以及考察其中所蘊含的歷史原由等社會因素和形象之間的關(guān)系。選取形象學(xué)的角度來分析他的小說,這是本論文的嘗試和創(chuàng)新,運用的研究方法主要有文本分析法,對比舉例論證法等。
[Abstract]:Since modern times, "Chinese image" has appeared repeatedly in western literature and art. For Westerners, China is an eternal topic worth discussing. The change of Chinese image also reflects the understanding and consciousness of Westerners to foreign countries. Especially since the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, as a result of the changes in the world political structure, China, once the "Upper Kingdom of China", was forced to get involved in the wave of world disputes, and China's closed and conservative ruling system was completely broken down. In this situation, the cultural exchange between China and the West has been strengthened, and the cultural conflict has been highlighted, which is reflected in the works of Westerners who came to China at that time. As an ordinary Westerner who is full of yearning for oriental culture, from 1949 to 1967, he created a series of detective novels of Chinese theme, which are collectively called "the Great Tang Di Public case". Under the influence of Chinese and foreign detective novels, this collection of novels is the result of imagination and deduction according to his own knowledge of Chinese culture. This fictional novel with Di Renjie, who lived in the heyday of Chinese feudal society, as the protagonist of Tang Dynasty, shows readers what the author thinks of China. The book has attracted wide attention since its publication. The domestic and foreign studies on Gao Lopei and his works are mainly reflected in the introduction of his academic research, or the analysis of his series works from the angles of law, criminal investigation, and cultural differences between China and the West. In this paper, on the basis of the formation of the study of Gao Lopei's novels, this paper will analyze and explore how the Chinese image in his works has been generated from the perspective of imageology. And the relationship between social factors and image, such as historical reasons. It is the attempt and innovation of this paper to analyze his novels from the perspective of image science. The research methods used are mainly text analysis method, comparative demonstration method and so on.
