順應(yīng)論視域下《檀香刑》英譯本的譯者主體性研究

  隨著中國各方面的快速發(fā)展,中國文學(xué)在國際舞臺上大放異彩。作為中國第一位諾貝爾文學(xué)獎的獲得者,莫言功不可沒。莫言作為一名優(yōu)秀多產(chǎn)的作家,創(chuàng)作了很多具有研究價值的文學(xué)作品!短聪阈獭肥撬拈L篇代表作之一,主要講述了19世紀(jì)初發(fā)生在山東高密縣的一起殘酷的行刑事件。漢學(xué)家葛浩文翻譯的《檀香刑》譯本在2013年出版后,受到很多學(xué)者的關(guān)注和喜愛。很多學(xué)者對其進(jìn)行了不同角度的研究。本文試圖從順應(yīng)論的角度對《檀香刑》英譯本的譯者主體性進(jìn)行研究。順應(yīng)論主要包括四個研究維度,即語境順應(yīng)、結(jié)構(gòu)順應(yīng)、動態(tài)順應(yīng)和意識順應(yīng)程度。但是從這四個研究維度的關(guān)系來看,順應(yīng)的意識凸顯程度占據(jù)主導(dǎo)地位,它支配著其它三個角度;蛘哒f順應(yīng)的意識性決定順應(yīng)的動態(tài)性,從而決定了結(jié)構(gòu)順應(yīng)和語境順應(yīng),因?yàn)榻Y(jié)構(gòu)順應(yīng)和語境順應(yīng)是動態(tài)順應(yīng)的內(nèi)容和具體表現(xiàn)形式。所以本文側(cè)重研究順應(yīng)論的具體表現(xiàn)形式:結(jié)構(gòu)順應(yīng)和語境順應(yīng)。順應(yīng)論指出:使用語言是不斷做出選擇的過程,而翻譯活動作為一種語言使用,譯者在考慮諸多因素后在翻譯活動中也要不斷做出選擇,這種選擇既體現(xiàn)了譯者的主動性和創(chuàng)造性,又體現(xiàn)譯者對目標(biāo)語和目標(biāo)語讀者的順應(yīng)。由此也為文學(xué)翻譯的研究提供了不同的...
