近年來美國當(dāng)代小說日益受到關(guān)注,國內(nèi)外對(duì)小說翻譯的理論研究趨于成熟,紐馬克的“語義翻譯與交際翻譯”理論也在許多翻譯中得到更多的應(yīng)用和體現(xiàn)。在論文中,筆者選用了美國當(dāng)代小說Long Way Gone（作者Charles Martin）的開頭部分作為翻譯對(duì)象。在翻譯的過程中,如何將語義翻譯與交際翻譯結(jié)合使用,是筆者著重考慮的翻譯策略問題。紐馬克主張針對(duì)不同的文體采用不同的翻譯手段,語義翻譯側(cè)重于把原作者在原文中要表達(dá)的意思準(zhǔn)確地再現(xiàn)出來,而交際翻譯則根植于目標(biāo)語文化,更注重目標(biāo)語的表達(dá)方式和讀者感受。紐馬克的這些理論及方法對(duì)本次翻譯實(shí)踐具有指導(dǎo)意義,主要體現(xiàn)在筆者所選用的詞、句、段三方面的例證中。翻譯過程中,筆者采用了語義翻譯和交際翻譯相結(jié)合的翻譯策略與方法,并著重考查詞匯及句子深層含義,從而完成譯文。在對(duì)翻譯過程的分析總結(jié)中,筆者注意到:（1）事先對(duì)全文的語言風(fēng)格以及對(duì)文化背景知識(shí)進(jìn)行透徹的了解,為完成翻譯任務(wù)提供了十分重要的前提條件;（2）交際翻譯與語義翻譯相結(jié)合,有助于創(chuàng)作出高質(zhì)量的翻譯作品。在本項(xiàng)翻譯實(shí)踐中,筆者將紐馬克的“語義翻譯與交際翻譯”理論應(yīng)用到具體的文本中。一方面能夠探索...
