【摘要】：美國著名認知語言學(xué)家Talmy(2000)根據(jù)移動事件詞匯化模式的不同把世界上的語言類型主要分為兩種:“附加語構(gòu)架語(satellite-framed Languages)”和“動詞構(gòu)架語(Verb-framed languages)”。在附加語構(gòu)架語中,移動事件的核心要素——路徑主要詞匯化為附加語。在動詞構(gòu)架語中,路徑主要詞匯化為動詞。詞匯化模式類型差異對移動事件的表達有顯著影響,附加語構(gòu)架語比動詞構(gòu)架語包含更豐富的方式信息且傾向于描寫詳細的路徑信息,而動詞構(gòu)架語提供的方式信息和路徑信息單位則相對較少。源語與目的語之間詞匯化模式的差異是譯者在翻譯過程中必需要面對的問題。Slobin(1996,2005)的研究發(fā)現(xiàn),把附加語構(gòu)架語翻譯為動詞構(gòu)架語時,譯者往往會省略原文中的方式信息,同時減少路徑信息,或通過添加移動動詞的辦法用幾個小句來表達原文復(fù)雜的路徑信息;而從動詞構(gòu)架語到附加語構(gòu)架語的翻譯中,譯者傾向于添加方式信息和路徑信息。本文以《紅樓夢》及其兩個經(jīng)典譯本為例,選取120例移動事件及其對應(yīng)翻譯,進行了定量研究。研究發(fā)現(xiàn):(1)兩個譯本與原文之間存在詞匯化模式差異�！都t樓夢》原文多用方式狀語表達方式信息,多用路徑動詞表達路徑信息,表現(xiàn)出了漢語的移動事件詞匯化模式特點�；糇g多用方式動詞表達方式信息,用路徑短語來表達路徑信息,增加了方式信息和路徑信息,表現(xiàn)了英語作為附加語構(gòu)架語的詞匯化模式特點。楊譯也較少使用方式狀語、多用路徑短語表達路徑信息,表現(xiàn)出了英語的詞匯化模式特點。(2)受譯者母語詞匯化模式的影響,兩譯本之間存在詞匯化模式差異�；糇g突出表現(xiàn)了英語作為附加語構(gòu)架語的詞匯化模式特點,而楊譯既表現(xiàn)出英語的某些詞匯化模式特點,也表現(xiàn)出漢語的某些詞匯化模式特點。楊譯和霍譯在翻譯移動事件時存在策略上的差異,這反映了譯者母語詞匯化模式類型對譯者翻譯行為的影響。(3)本文在分析《紅樓夢》兩譯本移動事件的基礎(chǔ)上,分別從方式信息、路徑信息兩個方面總結(jié)了進行漢英翻譯移動事件表達的主要策略。
