模因論視閾下的苗族史詩《亞魯王》英譯策略

【摘要】:模因是文化傳播的基本單位,主要靠模仿進行自身的復制,模因間存在著自然選擇的競爭關系。受模因論的啟發(fā),《亞魯王》英譯過程中,譯者采用直譯、直譯加注等方法,盡可能完整地復制原文的信息,使典籍這一模因綜合體獲得較完整的復制;針對原文中的苗族特色文化詞,譯者采用異化為主、歸化為輔的翻譯策略,盡可能將原文中的異質性內容傳達到譯入語中,使苗文化的模因獲得新的生存和傳播空間。
[Abstract]:Meme is the basic unit of cultural communication, which mainly rely on imitation to replicate itself. There is a competitive relationship between memes. Inspired by memetics, in the process of translating King Aru into English, translators copy the information of the original text as completely as possible by means of literal translation and literal annotation, so that the meme complex can be reproduced completely. In view of the Miao culture words in the original text, the translator adopts the strategy of foreignization as the principal and domestication as the auxiliary, and conveys the heterogeneity of the original text to the target language as far as possible, so that the meme of the Miao culture can gain new living and spreading space.
