【摘要】：中國科幻作品《三體》由美籍華裔譯者劉宇昆翻譯成英文后,于2015年獲得世界科幻文學(xué)界至高獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)“雨果獎(jiǎng)”,實(shí)現(xiàn)了中國甚至亞洲科幻文學(xué)零的突破,引發(fā)了廣泛關(guān)注。無獨(dú)有偶,由劉宇昆翻譯的另一部中國科幻作品《北京折疊》也于2016年摘得“雨果獎(jiǎng)”,其影響力可見一斑。然而,與葛浩文等中國文學(xué)外傳的功臣相比,有關(guān)譯者劉宇昆的相應(yīng)研究才剛剛起步,這無疑是一種缺失和不足。自翻譯的文化轉(zhuǎn)向之后,翻譯倫理成為了另一個(gè)重要的研究方向。切斯特曼首次提出了五大翻譯倫理,在此基礎(chǔ)上,孫致禮更為細(xì)致具體地劃分了譯者的五大職責(zé),即:再現(xiàn)原作;完成委托人的要求;符合目的語社會(huì)文化的規(guī)范;滿足目的語讀者的需求;恪守職業(yè)道德。借助該理論框架,本文旨在分析以下幾個(gè)問題:1.譯者劉宇昆是否具有明確的責(zé)任意識(shí)?具體是怎樣的?2.譯者的責(zé)任意識(shí)在翻譯文本中是如何體現(xiàn)的,也就是譯者責(zé)任是如何影響翻譯的。通過素材收集和文本細(xì)讀,本文得出結(jié)論:在對(duì)《三體》進(jìn)行英文翻譯的過程中,譯者劉宇昆體現(xiàn)了高度的責(zé)任意識(shí)。本著對(duì)原作和作者負(fù)責(zé)的翻譯思想,他盡量保留原有的語言風(fēng)格和人物特色;并且對(duì)有問題的寫作進(jìn)行了諸多修改。為了符合客戶(此處具體指出版社編輯)的要求,劉宇昆對(duì)原文中可能帶有女性歧視的內(nèi)容進(jìn)行了改寫。為了滿足英文讀者的閱讀期待,盡量采用通俗慣用語,對(duì)語義模糊處進(jìn)行澄清,對(duì)中國特有的文化現(xiàn)象做了大量注解。此外,譯者具有文化溝通者的意識(shí),對(duì)其他可能造成文化沖突的內(nèi)容進(jìn)行了改寫。還查閱了大量科技類文獻(xiàn)等以保證術(shù)語準(zhǔn)確,盡可能地對(duì)原文本進(jìn)行優(yōu)化,以及通過不斷修改減少翻譯失誤,這都是體現(xiàn)他譯者責(zé)任的一個(gè)個(gè)側(cè)面。
[Abstract]:Chinese Science Fiction Translation > < body by the Chinese American translator Liu Yukun English, in 2015 won the highest award in the world science fiction literature "Hugo prize", the China Asia and even science fiction breakthrough, sparked widespread concern. Since the cultural turn of translation, translation ethics has become another important research direction is put forward for the first time. / five translation ethics, on the basis of this, Sun Zhili is more detailed and specific divided into five functions, namely: the translator's reproduction of the original principal; complete requirements; meet. The language of social and cultural norms; meet the needs of the target readers; abide by the occupation morality. With the help of the theoretical framework, this paper aims to analyze the following problems: 1. whether the translator Liu Yukun has a clear sense of responsibility? How? The 2. translators in the translation of the sense of responsibility is reflected in how it is the translator's responsibility. How to influence the translation. Through material collection and textual analysis, this paper draws a conclusion: in the process of translation of < > English three, the translator Liu Yukun reflects the high sense of responsibility. In charge of the original and the author's translation thoughts, he try to maintain the original style of language and characters; and on the problem writing has made many changes. In order to meet the customer (here refers to the editor) requirements, Liu Yukun modified to write with the text of the discrimination against women in order to meet the English content. The readers' expectation, as far as possible the use of popular idioms in semantic fuzziness was clarified, the cultural phenomenon China peculiar to do a lot of notes. In addition, the translator has a cultural communication consciousness, on the other may cause cultural conflicts and the content of the rewriting. Access to a large number of scientific literature to ensure accurate terms as far as possible, the original text is optimized, and reduce the translation errors through the change, this is the embodiment of translator's responsibility of one side of him.
