本文借助當(dāng)代翻譯研究學(xué)派重要學(xué)者安德烈·勒菲弗爾的制約翻譯與改寫(xiě)理論，通過(guò)對(duì)中國(guó)古代文化典籍《詩(shī)經(jīng)》的兩個(gè)英譯本（理雅各譯本和許淵沖譯本）的比較研究，探討影響《詩(shī)經(jīng)》英譯的因素及表現(xiàn)形式�！对�(shī)經(jīng)》是中國(guó)最早的詩(shī)歌總集，是華夏文化的源頭和中國(guó)古典詩(shī)歌的雛形，同時(shí)也是儒家經(jīng)典之一。其語(yǔ)言獨(dú)特，風(fēng)格樸實(shí)自然，形象地反映了中國(guó)古代政治狀況和民情風(fēng)俗，在中國(guó)文化中占據(jù)著相當(dāng)重要的地位，這也是《詩(shī)經(jīng)》備受關(guān)注的原因之一。在一百余年內(nèi)，僅英譯本數(shù)量便達(dá)到十余種，本文選取兩個(gè)不同時(shí)代（19世紀(jì)70年代、20世紀(jì)90年代）、不同國(guó)籍（英國(guó)、中國(guó)）、不同身份（傳教士、翻譯家）的譯者頗具代表性的譯本作為研究對(duì)象，從勒菲弗爾所提出的操作理論視角展開(kāi)比較性研究，以期對(duì)世界詩(shī)經(jīng)學(xué)的發(fā)展貢獻(xiàn)一份心力。勒菲弗爾提出了意識(shí)形態(tài)、詩(shī)學(xué)及贊助人對(duì)譯者對(duì)文本和翻譯策略的選擇及譯作的出版等都會(huì)產(chǎn)生影響，并結(jié)合實(shí)例進(jìn)行了有力論證，稱翻譯即對(duì)原文的改寫(xiě)。不同時(shí)代的社會(huì)歷史和文化語(yǔ)境可能千差萬(wàn)別，因此，不同時(shí)代譯者的翻譯往往會(huì)為了迎合讀者的需要而受到主流意識(shí)形態(tài)和詩(shī)學(xué)的操縱。本文共有六章。第一章主要介紹論文的研究背景，目的，意義以及...
