林語(yǔ)堂在歷史上是一名頗具爭(zhēng)議的作家,同時(shí)也是一名多產(chǎn)的翻譯家,然而由于歷史原因,林語(yǔ)堂研究在中國(guó)大陸一直未引起足夠的重視,對(duì)其翻譯活動(dòng)及翻譯作品的研究更是少之又少。本文以翻譯家林語(yǔ)堂為研究對(duì)象,以勒夫維爾的改寫(xiě)理論為分析框架,對(duì)林語(yǔ)堂20世紀(jì)30年代的翻譯活動(dòng)和翻譯作品進(jìn)行了考察和研究,從而幫助讀者更好地理解林語(yǔ)堂30年代翻譯活動(dòng)變化背后的深層次因素,以期為林語(yǔ)堂的翻譯研究添磚加瓦。20世紀(jì)30年代,林語(yǔ)堂的思想文化觀(guān)念,文學(xué)創(chuàng)作以及政治立場(chǎng)發(fā)生了巨大的轉(zhuǎn)變,并被左翼作家斥為落后與保守。其不同的翻譯類(lèi)型在這一時(shí)期都有所展現(xiàn),包括了翻譯（有明確的文本）、自譯（auto-translation）和編譯（editing）等。本文根據(jù)其翻譯作品的內(nèi)容及主題,將林語(yǔ)堂30年代（1928-1937）的翻譯活動(dòng)分成三個(gè)階段,并采用描述-解釋的方法,從意識(shí)形態(tài)、詩(shī)學(xué)和贊助人的角度,分析了林語(yǔ)堂三個(gè)階段翻譯文本選擇的特點(diǎn)及原因,從歸化、異化的角度,通過(guò)對(duì)典型例子的分析,對(duì)三個(gè)階段的翻譯策略進(jìn)行了探討。通過(guò)對(duì)林語(yǔ)堂30年代翻譯活動(dòng)的個(gè)案分析,本文認(rèn)為個(gè)人主義與表現(xiàn)主義,幽默與閑適,以及性靈文學(xué)是林語(yǔ)堂30...
