【摘要】： 傳統(tǒng)翻譯策略研究大都基于個(gè)人主觀印象進(jìn)行主觀判斷,存在諸多局限性。而應(yīng)用客觀分析并作為判斷依據(jù),可以有效克服主觀判斷的缺陷。在成功開發(fā)英漢戲劇雙語平行語料庫Para-corpus之后,本文作者嘗試運(yùn)用該語料庫,基于大量數(shù)據(jù)和語料的客觀分析,對《哈姆雷特》和《奧賽羅》的朱生豪譯本和梁實(shí)秋譯本進(jìn)行定量和定性研究。 本文運(yùn)用英漢平行語料庫Para-corpus,迅速、便捷地獲取了研究所需的數(shù)據(jù)和相互對應(yīng)的英漢語料。眾所周知,《哈姆雷特》和《奧賽羅》的朱譯文和梁譯文廣為傳誦,譯界評價(jià)頗高,故本文選取該兩譯者的譯文作為研究對象。本文首先詳細(xì)介紹了英漢平行語料庫Para-corpus構(gòu)建的原理,過程以及相應(yīng)原則,然后基于該語料庫對《哈姆雷特》和《奧賽羅》的梁實(shí)秋譯本和朱生豪譯本中文化限定詞,that所引導(dǎo)的從句和英語被動(dòng)態(tài)的翻譯進(jìn)行比較分析,以期得出梁實(shí)秋和朱生豪在翻譯策略即異化或歸化運(yùn)用上所表現(xiàn)出的不同傾向。 在對英漢語言差異和譯者主體性進(jìn)行詳細(xì)討論后,本文研究發(fā)現(xiàn)梁實(shí)秋譯本和朱生豪譯本均采取了歸化策略,但前者包含更多的異化因子,后者則更多采取歸化策略。由此可見,梁實(shí)秋和朱生豪在翻譯策略的選擇上存在不同傾向。 本文就平行語料庫在翻譯策略研究中的應(yīng)用展開了探索性研究�？梢哉J(rèn)為,本文研究為翻譯策略及翻譯批評研究提供嶄新的維度和方法。
[Abstract]:Most of the traditional translation strategy studies are based on personal subjective impression, which has many limitations. The application of objective analysis and as the basis of judgment can effectively overcome the defects of subjective judgment. After the successful development of English and Chinese drama bilingual parallel corpus Para-corpus, the author attempts to use this corpus to analyze objectively based on a large number of data and corpus. This paper makes a quantitative and qualitative study on Zhu Shenghao's translation and Liang Shiqiu's translation of Hamlet and Othello. In this paper, the English-Chinese parallel corpus Para-corpus, is used to obtain the required data and corresponding English and Chinese materials quickly and conveniently. As we all know, the Zhu translation and Liang translation of Hamlet and Othello are widely recited, and the translation is highly evaluated in the field of translation, so this paper selects the translation of the two translators as the object of study. This paper first introduces in detail the principle, process and corresponding principles of the construction of English-Chinese parallel corpus Para-corpus, and then, based on the corpus, makes a detailed introduction to the cultural qualified words in Liang Shiqiu's translation of Hamlet and Othello and Zhu Shenghao's translation. The clauses guided by that are compared with English by dynamic translation in order to find out the different tendencies of Liang Shiqiu and Zhu Shenghao in the application of foreignization or domestication. After a detailed discussion of the linguistic differences between English and Chinese and the translator's subjectivity, this paper finds that both Liang Shiqiu's translation and Zhu Shenghao's translation adopt domestication strategy, but the former contains more foreignization factors, while the latter adopts more domestication strategy. Thus it can be seen that Liang Shiqiu and Zhu Shenghao have different tendencies in the choice of translation strategies. This paper makes an exploratory study on the application of parallel corpus in the study of translation strategies. It can be considered that this study provides a new dimension and method for the study of translation strategies and translation criticism.
