【摘要】:翻譯活動是一種受社會、文化、歷史和意識形態(tài)等多方面因素制約與操控的行為,所以源語文本中心論對翻譯研究有著本質(zhì)上的局限性。要發(fā)展翻譯研究就必須走出該種研究模式。依據(jù)勒菲弗爾詩學(xué)理論,本文嘗試從詩學(xué)角度對奧斯卡·王爾德的童話The Happy Prince三個經(jīng)典中譯本(即20世紀(jì)初周作人的譯本,40年代巴金的譯本以及21世紀(jì)初易新的譯本)進(jìn)行對比研究,旨在分析出不同歷史時期中不同詩學(xué)觀對當(dāng)時譯者翻譯目的、目標(biāo)讀者、兒童意識以及翻譯策略的選擇所產(chǎn)生的影響。 本文首先概述了研究目的、研究意義、研究方法以及論文結(jié)構(gòu),隨后簡要介紹了奧斯卡·王爾德及其文學(xué)作品以及勒菲弗爾翻譯理論在中國的研究概況,并著重介紹了The Happy Prince的中譯情況及其翻譯研究動態(tài)。之后簡要回顧了西方翻譯史上的“文化轉(zhuǎn)向”、多元理論以及操控流派,為論述勒菲弗爾操控理論產(chǎn)生的背景和理論淵源做出鋪墊。此后詳述的詩學(xué)概念衍變以及勒菲弗爾詩學(xué)理論對翻譯的影響為全文奠定了理論基礎(chǔ)。論文主體章節(jié)首先從占主導(dǎo)地位的主流詩學(xué)觀以及譯者個人詩學(xué)觀兩方面詳細(xì)分析了三個中譯本產(chǎn)生時不同的詩學(xué)觀,隨后通過譯例列舉、對比分析的研究方法詳細(xì)分析每個歷史時期的詩學(xué)觀如何分別對翻譯目的、目標(biāo)讀者、兒童意識以及翻譯策略的選擇產(chǎn)生具體影響。最后是論文的總結(jié)部分。筆者首先對全文做出簡要總結(jié),而后指出本文的主要研究結(jié)論、研究成果以及不足之處,并對該項研究的未來發(fā)展方向做了展望。本文結(jié)論如下:主流詩學(xué)觀和譯者個人詩學(xué)觀相互影響并共同操控The Happy Prince的翻譯過程,且該種操控充分體現(xiàn)在譯者翻譯目的、目標(biāo)讀者、兒童意識以及翻譯策略的選擇以及最終譯本的呈現(xiàn)上 本論文將The Happy Prince的翻譯研究從單純的語言層面擴(kuò)展到更廣闊的社會文化背景之下,打破了源文本中心論對翻譯研究的束縛,同時豐富了The Happy Prince1中譯本的翻譯研究。
[Abstract]:Translation activities are controlled by social, cultural, historical and ideological factors. Therefore, the centrism of source language has essential limitations on translation studies. In order to develop translation studies, it is necessary to go out of this research mode, according to Lefevere's theory of poetics. This paper attempts to analyze the three classic Chinese versions of Oscar Wilde's fairy tale The Happy Prince from the perspective of poetics (that is, Zhou Zuoren's version at the beginning of 20th century). A contrastive study of Ba Jin's version in 40s and the new version in 21th century is aimed at analyzing the different poetics views in different historical periods for the purpose and target readers of the translator's translation at that time. The impact of children's awareness and the choice of translation strategies. This paper first outlines the purpose, significance, methodology and structure of the study, and then briefly introduces Oscar Wilde and his literary works, as well as the general situation of the study of Lefevere's translation theory in China. It also introduces the translation situation of The Happy Prince and its translation research trends, and then briefly reviews the "cultural turn", pluralistic theories and manipulative schools in the history of western translation. It lays the foundation for the background and origin of Lefevere's manipulation theory. The evolution of the concept of poetics and the influence of Lefevere's poetics on translation are laid a theoretical foundation for the thesis. First of all, the author analyzes the three Chinese versions of poetics in detail from the dominant view of poetics and the translator's view of personal poetics. Then, through illustrative examples, the comparative analysis of poetics in each historical period is carried out in detail to analyze how the translation aims and target readers are respectively affected by the poetics view in each historical period. Children's awareness and the choice of translation strategies have a specific impact. The last part is the summary of the thesis. First, the author makes a brief summary of the full text, and then points out the main research conclusions, research results and shortcomings. The future development of the study is also prospected. The conclusions are as follows: the mainstream poetics and the translator's personal poetics influence each other and control the translation process of The Happy Prince. The manipulation is fully reflected in the translator's purpose, target readers, children's awareness, the choice of translation strategies and the presentation of the final translation. This thesis extends the translation studies of The Happy Prince from a purely linguistic perspective to a broader sociocultural background, thus breaking the shackles of the source-text-centric approach to translation studies. At the same time, it enriches the translation studies of The Happy Prince1.
