生態(tài)語言學視角下荊州年輕人對普通話、荊州方言、英語的語言態(tài)度調查研究

生態(tài)語言學自二十世紀七十年代開創(chuàng)以來,已在國內外語言學界引起廣泛關注。增強語言和文化生態(tài)的保護意識、維護語言文化生態(tài)系統(tǒng)的平衡,在中國建設和諧社會的新時期具有重要意義。 本文從生態(tài)語言學理論架構出發(fā),以生態(tài)語言學中語言多樣性問題為研究點,選取荊州地區(qū)年輕人為研究對象,通過研究其語言態(tài)度來分析當?shù)氐恼Z言生態(tài)。本研究主要采用社會語言學問卷、訪談調查等方法,以不同年齡階段的120名荊州學生為實驗對象,通過調查研究,試圖獲得以下問題的答案:1.荊州地區(qū)年輕人語言使用情況以及他們對普通話、荊州方言和英語的語言態(tài)度是怎樣的?2.如何運用生態(tài)語言學原理解釋這些語言態(tài)度在荊州產(chǎn)生的原因,分析當?shù)厥欠翊嬖谡Z言生態(tài)危機? 調查研究表明:荊州作為長江沿岸的歷史文化名城,隨著經(jīng)濟的發(fā)展以及普通話的推廣,荊州年輕人在交流中更偏好使用普通話;同時,英語作為一種世界通用語言,其國際交流中的重要地位促使荊州年輕人更加重視英語的學習和使用;而荊州方言在年輕人群體中有被弱化的趨勢,在時代的劇烈變遷中,其生存和發(fā)展受到挑戰(zhàn),保護荊州地區(qū)語言多樣性勢在必行。
