【摘要】:文化教學是英語教學的一個重要方面,因為學生的交際能力與文化意識是不可分割的。如何提高學生的文化認知在英語教學中變得尤為重要。 近年來,許多教師在文化教學研究中,重心大都放在大學,而對中學英語文化教學的研究少見。因此,本研究試圖對中學英語文化教學的途徑做相應的實證研究,以便論證中學英語文化教學不僅能提高學生的跨文化交際能力,而且能激發(fā)學生的學習動機。 基于克拉申輸入假設理論和Paivio的雙碼理論,本研究提出了英語電影文化教學模式。電影是文化的傳播者,是不同時代生活的濃縮與升華,將英語電影引入外語教學可以使學生更深入的了解西方文化,促進學生英語文化的構建,提高跨文化交際能力并激發(fā)學生的學習動機,尤其有利于中學生英語教學。 電影插入模式的文化教學有三個主要環(huán)節(jié):在第一個環(huán)節(jié)中教師根據(jù)該課堂的教學任務和目的,節(jié)選影片的一部分作為教學內容,在上課前教師會給學生講解一定的電影背景知識和內容概要,介紹影片中的主要角色,以幫助學生對影片有一個前理解。第二個環(huán)節(jié)教師根據(jù)該課堂的教學任務設計一些問題,讓學生帶著問題去觀看,從而找到問題的答案。在此環(huán)節(jié),教師可以運用不同的教學方法啟發(fā)并引導學生,爭取讓每一個學生都能積極的發(fā)揮主觀能動性。在最后一個環(huán)節(jié)中教師對學生的答案作點評并總結課堂內容。 本文旨在證明英語電影用于中學英語文化教學的可行性和有效性,期望探索出一套有效的英語電影教學方法。 文章采用定性與定量研究相結合的研究方法,研究數(shù)據(jù)以測試為主,問卷調查和訪談為輔。研究首先把學生分為實驗班和控制班并進行前測,對被試學生的答卷成績進行數(shù)據(jù)統(tǒng)計分析,檢驗學生對英語文化的掌握程度。然后運用不同的語言素材進行教學。最后基于對研究對象進行問卷調查,訪談和后測的數(shù)據(jù)結果,對運用英語電影的中學生文化教學做綜合評估。 通過實驗結果,證明基于英語電影的文化教學模式在中學英語課堂的可行性和有效性。同時,研究還提出了教師如何運用英語電影進行文化教學的建設性方法。 具體來說,本研究共有六個部分:第一部分介紹了論文的研究背景,研究目的意義,以及論文的框架結構。第二部分概括性的介紹了論文的理論背景及相關研究。第三部分主要介紹了研究的設計,包括研究問題,研究對象和研究工具。第四部分是論文的核心部分,介紹了研究中涉及的具體的教學模式——電影插入模式,教學方法,問題和建議。第五部分是實踐結果分析。第六部分是結論部分,首先回顧了主要的研究成果,然后討論了研究的局限性,最后提出了相關的建議。
[Abstract]:Culture teaching is an important aspect of English teaching, because students' communicative competence and cultural awareness are inseparable. How to improve students' cultural cognition has become particularly important in English teaching.
In recent years, many teachers in the cultural teaching and research, focus mostly on the University, and the research on middle school English culture teaching is rare. Therefore, this study attempts to approach for middle school English culture teaching the corresponding empirical research, in order to demonstrate the culture of middle school English teaching can not only improve the students' intercultural communicative competence, but also can stimulate the learning motivation of the students.
Krashen's input hypothesis and Paivio based on dual coding theory, this study proposes the culture of English movie teaching mode. The film is a disseminator of culture, is concentrated in different times of life and sublimation of the English film into foreign language teaching can make students more in-depth understanding of the western culture, to promote the construction of students' English culture, improve the cross cultural communication ability and stimulate students' learning motivation, especially for middle school English teaching.
Film culture teaching insertion mode has three main aspects: in the first part of the teachers according to the teaching task and purpose, a part film as teaching contents, before class teachers will give students to explain certain movie background knowledge and content summary, introduces the main characters in the film, in order to help students the film is a former teacher. Understand the second aspects of design problems according to the teaching task, let the students with problems to watch, and find the answer to the problem. In this part, teachers can use different teaching methods to inspire and guide the students, for every student can actively play subjective initiative. In the last part of the teacher to the student answers for review and summarize the content of the classroom.
The purpose of this paper is to prove the feasibility and effectiveness of English films used in the teaching of English culture in secondary schools and to explore a set of effective teaching methods for English films.
This paper adopts the research methods of combining qualitative and quantitative analysis, the research data to test, questionnaire and interview research. First, the students are divided into experimental class and control class and pre-test, the achievements of the students' answers to the statistical analysis of the data, to test the students' mastery of English culture and the use of different. The language teaching material. Finally, based on the questionnaire survey on the object of study, interviews and post test data, make a comprehensive assessment of the use of English movies the students culture teaching.
It proves the feasibility and effectiveness of English movie based culture teaching mode in middle school English classroom. The research also puts forward a constructive method for teachers to apply English movies to culture teaching.
Specifically, this study includes six parts: the first part introduces the research background, purpose and significance of the study, and the framework of the article. The second part introduces the theoretical background of this thesis and related research. The third part mainly introduces the research design, including research questions, research object and research tool fourth. Is the core part of this paper, introduces the research involved in the specific teaching mode -- the film insert mode, teaching methods, problems and suggestions. The fifth part is analyzing the results of practice. The sixth part is the conclusion, firstly reviews the main research results, and then discusses the limitations of the research, finally puts forward relevant suggestions.
