【摘要】： 學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)評(píng)作為學(xué)術(shù)語(yǔ)篇的一種,很多年來(lái)通常被當(dāng)作參考文獻(xiàn),其在學(xué)術(shù)界的重要性并沒(méi)有得到應(yīng)有的重視。學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)評(píng)具有獨(dú)特而復(fù)雜的人際意義:一方面評(píng)者要對(duì)所評(píng)書(shū)籍的結(jié)構(gòu)、內(nèi)容及其學(xué)術(shù)價(jià)值進(jìn)行客觀、扼要的概述以及揚(yáng)優(yōu)汰劣的評(píng)價(jià);另一方面,他還要平衡其與書(shū)籍作者以及讀者之間的人際關(guān)系,避免潛伏分歧的產(chǎn)生。 評(píng)價(jià)理論是系統(tǒng)功能語(yǔ)言學(xué)中語(yǔ)言的人際功能在語(yǔ)篇語(yǔ)義層面上的擴(kuò)展和延伸。本文擬以評(píng)價(jià)理論為理論框架,作者從國(guó)外和國(guó)內(nèi)的主流語(yǔ)言學(xué)雜志上選取了英漢語(yǔ)言學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)評(píng)各10篇作為語(yǔ)料,將其置于評(píng)價(jià)系統(tǒng)的三個(gè)次系統(tǒng)(態(tài)度、介入和級(jí)差)中進(jìn)行對(duì)比分析,借此來(lái)揭示英漢學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)評(píng)中評(píng)價(jià)意義各種語(yǔ)言實(shí)現(xiàn)手段的異同,并試圖進(jìn)行合理的原因探索。 本文采用了定量和定性分析相結(jié)合的研究方法,通過(guò)分析得出以下結(jié)論:(1)總體來(lái)看三個(gè)次系統(tǒng)在英漢學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)評(píng)中的出現(xiàn)頻率不同。在英語(yǔ)書(shū)評(píng)中,其出現(xiàn)頻率從高到低依次為介入、態(tài)度和級(jí)差;而漢語(yǔ)書(shū)評(píng)中其出現(xiàn)頻率由高到低為態(tài)度、介入和級(jí)差。不同的態(tài)度資源在英漢學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)評(píng)中的出現(xiàn)頻率也有所不同。(2)在介入次系統(tǒng)中,英漢學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)評(píng)都較多的采用雜語(yǔ)。在書(shū)評(píng)的引介、概述和評(píng)價(jià)三個(gè)階段中,英漢書(shū)評(píng)外言和自言的出現(xiàn)頻率都呈規(guī)律性的變化。(3)從級(jí)差角度看,英語(yǔ)書(shū)評(píng)中表達(dá)肯定情感的強(qiáng)勢(shì)出現(xiàn)頻率低于漢語(yǔ)書(shū)評(píng),而表達(dá)否定情感的強(qiáng)勢(shì)出現(xiàn)頻率則高于漢語(yǔ)書(shū)評(píng);英漢評(píng)者都使用一些手段使正面評(píng)價(jià)明顯化,負(fù)面評(píng)價(jià)模糊化,以便于評(píng)者更好地協(xié)調(diào)與作者之間的沖突。(4)從書(shū)評(píng)的結(jié)構(gòu)來(lái)看,英文書(shū)評(píng)的引介階段通常作為獨(dú)立一章出現(xiàn),且英語(yǔ)評(píng)者肯定意義的表達(dá)通常只出現(xiàn)在評(píng)價(jià)階段。而漢語(yǔ)書(shū)評(píng)中的肯定評(píng)價(jià)會(huì)在引介階段和評(píng)價(jià)階段重復(fù)出現(xiàn)。此外英文評(píng)者評(píng)價(jià)的側(cè)重點(diǎn)通常是所評(píng)書(shū)籍的使用價(jià)值,而漢語(yǔ)評(píng)者則重視書(shū)籍的理論貢獻(xiàn)。 總之,對(duì)中英學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)評(píng)評(píng)價(jià)意義的對(duì)比分析,一方面證明了評(píng)價(jià)理論是解讀語(yǔ)篇中作者態(tài)度和立場(chǎng)的有力工具;另一方面分析得出的結(jié)論也有助于指導(dǎo)學(xué)生對(duì)英漢學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)評(píng)的閱讀與寫(xiě)作,進(jìn)一步豐富了評(píng)價(jià)理論的應(yīng)用。
