【摘要】： 本文首先借用了Hyland (1998)提出的用于分析學(xué)術(shù)寫(xiě)作模糊限制語(yǔ)及模糊限制現(xiàn)象的分類(lèi)模式，運(yùn)用描述和定性分析的方法，將對(duì)中英學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)評(píng)中的模糊限制現(xiàn)象作對(duì)比分析，然后借用維索爾倫的順應(yīng)論(2000)來(lái)解釋中英文學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)評(píng)中模糊限制語(yǔ)使用的異同。 首先，作者用定性的方法研究了中英學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)評(píng)中模糊限制語(yǔ)的語(yǔ)言實(shí)現(xiàn)方式；其次，將中英書(shū)評(píng)中的模糊限制現(xiàn)象進(jìn)行頻率統(tǒng)計(jì)，并在此基礎(chǔ)上將中英學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)評(píng)進(jìn)行對(duì)比，找出兩者之間的異同；最后，找出造成這些差異的原因。 本文的語(yǔ)料主要由30篇中文書(shū)評(píng)和30篇英文書(shū)評(píng)組成。其中中文書(shū)評(píng)是發(fā)表于05-06年CSSCI收錄來(lái)源中國(guó)外語(yǔ)類(lèi)核心期刊。英文書(shū)評(píng)則主要來(lái)自于05-06年國(guó)外核心期刊。 結(jié)果表明：中英文學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)評(píng)作者都運(yùn)用了四種模糊限制語(yǔ)：即準(zhǔn)確度取向，評(píng)論者取向，讀者取向，被評(píng)者取向模糊限制語(yǔ)。在這四種模糊限制語(yǔ)的運(yùn)用上，中英兩種書(shū)評(píng)既有相同點(diǎn)也有不同點(diǎn)。其中，相同點(diǎn)主要體現(xiàn)在，首先中英文書(shū)評(píng)都大量運(yùn)用了四種模糊限制語(yǔ)；其次，兩者都偏愛(ài)使用準(zhǔn)確度取向的模糊限制語(yǔ)；再次，他們有著類(lèi)似的語(yǔ)言實(shí)現(xiàn)方式。而不同點(diǎn)在于首先是英文書(shū)評(píng)中總的模糊限制語(yǔ)頻率要高于中文，另一更明顯的不同點(diǎn)在于四種模糊限制語(yǔ)使用的相對(duì)頻率也有不同的偏好，即，中文書(shū)評(píng)在讀者傾向型模糊限制語(yǔ)的使用上有較低的頻率，而英文則剛好相反。 由于中英文書(shū)評(píng)都同為學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)評(píng)這一體裁，，因而他們有著相同的交際目的—公平、客觀地評(píng)價(jià)所評(píng)之書(shū)。因此，中英文書(shū)評(píng)者為了順應(yīng)這一體裁的特點(diǎn)大量使用了模糊限制語(yǔ)，尤其是準(zhǔn)確度取向限制語(yǔ)來(lái)達(dá)到他們的交際目的。另外，為了向讀者尤其是所評(píng)之書(shū)的原作者及同行專(zhuān)家表示尊敬和禮貌，中英文書(shū)評(píng)者都大量使用了模糊限制語(yǔ)來(lái)達(dá)到禮貌的目的，營(yíng)造良好的交際環(huán)境。 而不同點(diǎn)主要是由于中英文書(shū)評(píng)者處于不同的社交世界和心理世界造成的。確切地說(shuō)是首先兩者有著不同的價(jià)值觀；其次，兩者必須適應(yīng)不同的人際關(guān)系；再次，兩者的寫(xiě)作動(dòng)機(jī)不同使得中文書(shū)評(píng)中更多地使用書(shū)評(píng)者取向的模糊限制語(yǔ)。另外，由于中英文書(shū)評(píng)者處于不同的研究環(huán)境，使得中文書(shū)評(píng)中使用的模糊限制語(yǔ)的總數(shù)要低于英文中所使用的。 本文通過(guò)對(duì)書(shū)評(píng)中模糊限制語(yǔ)和模糊限制現(xiàn)象的探討，能豐富現(xiàn)在的模糊限制語(yǔ)研究，進(jìn)一步加深了對(duì)書(shū)評(píng)這一體裁的認(rèn)識(shí)；對(duì)學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)評(píng)和學(xué)術(shù)論文的寫(xiě)作有著積極的指導(dǎo)作用。同時(shí)通過(guò)中英兩種書(shū)評(píng)的對(duì)比分析，能夠加強(qiáng)兩種文化的交流和促進(jìn)中西方學(xué)術(shù)思想的交流。
