【摘要】：本報(bào)告是以譯者獨(dú)立完成的《安捷倫科技N8700系列系統(tǒng)直流電源用戶指南》(第三章)說明書翻譯實(shí)踐項(xiàng)目為基礎(chǔ)撰寫完成的。使用說明書是介紹產(chǎn)品工作原理、操作及維護(hù)的一種書面材料。其語言特點(diǎn)主要包含以下四個(gè)方面:簡潔性、客觀性、邏輯性和高針對性。本報(bào)告是在目的論的指導(dǎo)下完成的。目的論的三原則:目的原則,連貫原則,實(shí)用原則貫穿著整個(gè)翻譯過程。鑒于此,譯者主要采用了如下的翻譯策略:增譯法、略譯法、轉(zhuǎn)化法、結(jié)構(gòu)調(diào)整法、被動轉(zhuǎn)換成主動、直譯法和順譯法。使用說明書旨在幫助產(chǎn)品操作者正確地了解、使用和維修儀器設(shè)備,具有鮮明的目的性。故譯者選取翻譯策略時(shí)也應(yīng)當(dāng)以其最終的目的為出發(fā)點(diǎn),力爭產(chǎn)出簡單易懂的譯文,幫助產(chǎn)品使用者恰當(dāng)?shù)夭僮髟O(shè)備。因此,本報(bào)告的重點(diǎn)在于探討產(chǎn)品說明書的翻譯技巧。譯者通過提出七種切實(shí)有效的翻譯策略,以期提高翻譯效率,給翻譯從業(yè)人員一定的啟示。翻譯任務(wù)完成后,作者進(jìn)行了自我評估,進(jìn)一步完善了譯文。同時(shí)委托方也給出了中肯的評價(jià),使譯者發(fā)現(xiàn)了自身的不足。由于時(shí)間緊,專業(yè)知識欠缺,翻譯經(jīng)驗(yàn)不足等諸多因素的影響,本翻譯項(xiàng)目中依然存在不足之處。本次翻譯項(xiàng)目的預(yù)期目標(biāo)基本實(shí)現(xiàn),譯文質(zhì)量符合委托方的要求,譯者也獲得了寶貴的翻譯實(shí)踐經(jīng)驗(yàn)。
