“模因”一詞由理查德·道金斯在其《自私的基因》中首次提出。模因論通過蘇珊·布萊克摩爾的著作《模因機器》正式成為一門學科,被運用在語言學、哲學等眾多領域,取得了令人矚目的成就。安德魯·切斯特曼認為,翻譯是一種模因的傳播方式,并且翻譯學屬于模因論的范疇。他認為任何與翻譯有關的理論都可以從模因論的角度尋找答案。當前,國內(nèi)模因翻譯方面的研究很活躍,有關歸化異化的討論也一直都是熱點。許多學者認為歸化翻譯是模因傳播初期的必要階段,異化翻譯是模因傳播的要求與趨勢。然而,以模因論視角考慮原文作者和目標語讀者時,往往忽略了譯者的因素,而且異化翻譯是模因傳播的要求與趨勢實際上更是否定了譯者因素,認為模因可以控制譯者,譯者應該服從模因的意圖傳播。因此,本文以模因論為理論框架,旨在從模因傳播的角度探討黃中習提出的整體觀三要素,即作者、譯者、讀者之間的相互作用和影響,以期對整體觀有所補充。本研究意義在于,在以往學者對模因論用于歸化異化的翻譯領域基礎上,受整體觀的啟發(fā),從模因論角度闡釋譯者創(chuàng)造性,使模因翻譯策略多元化,從而更富有解釋力。同時,將整體觀與模因論有機結(jié)合,也是對翻譯理論與實踐研究的新嘗試。本研究選擇影...
