近年來,河南的對外交流日益頻繁,文化外宣的意識也逐漸增強,做好河南文化外宣工作意義重大。本報告節(jié)選自《美麗河南》(Beautiful Henan)一書的第二部分,旨在通過翻譯河南文化,加大對河南的宣傳,增進外國友人對河南的了解,達到提升河南國際知名度,促進文化交流的目的。但河南文化獨具特色、博大精深,做好其翻譯工作并非易事。因此,本著文化交流的原則,本報告以巴斯奈特的“文化翻譯”觀為理論依據(jù),從詞匯、句法和篇章幾個角度,探討翻譯過程中的難點,分析如何有效傳遞文化信息,探索文化翻譯的有效方法和途徑,為做好河南文化外宣翻譯做出貢獻。
