作為傳遞文化信息的橋梁,翻譯在原語和目的語之間的轉(zhuǎn)換過程中有著舉足輕重的作用。根據(jù)紐馬克的文本類型理論,本文將從交際翻譯和語義翻譯的角度來探討如何有效地翻譯信息型文本,從而能夠準確地傳達源語文本信息并盡可能保留原文的語言風格和特點。此次翻譯實踐報告的選用材料為Beyond College for All:Career Paths for the Forgotten Half的部分章節(jié)。該書為美國的高中畢業(yè)生擇業(yè)提供了有價值的信息,幫助雇主與學校建立聯(lián)系,有益于學校培養(yǎng)在校生的職業(yè)技能以適應社會的需要。本書屬于信息型文本,紐馬克的交際翻譯和語義翻譯理論,以及文本范疇理論為我們在這一領域的翻譯提供了新的翻譯視角。本報告由七部分組成,分別為翻譯報告簡介、翻譯項目簡介、翻譯理論、翻譯過程、案例分析、局限與建議和翻譯總結(jié)。通過大量的語料分析,論證了交際翻譯和語義翻譯方法在信息型文本翻譯實踐中具有適用性,并從詞匯、句法和圖表三個方面探討了信息型文本翻譯的可行性,進一步分析信息型文本特點并歸納其更可靠的翻譯策略,以指導信息型文本的翻譯實踐。圖0幅;表1個;參24篇。
