近年來,機器翻譯技術(shù)發(fā)展迅速,譯文質(zhì)量不斷提高,適用的文本類型也越來越多,機器翻譯也因此被廣泛應(yīng)用于各領(lǐng)域的實際翻譯場景。IT通訊領(lǐng)域的文本是機器翻譯譯文質(zhì)量較高的文本類型之一,同時通訊翻譯市場需求高,機器翻譯作為提高翻譯效率的重要途徑,對滿足市場需求有很重要的作用。本文基于作者在某通訊技術(shù)公司實習(xí)期間的翻譯實踐,首先對IT通訊領(lǐng)域文本的中譯英機器翻譯譯文進行質(zhì)量評估和錯誤分析,總結(jié)語料中存在的九個錯誤類型:錯譯、漏譯、冗譯、術(shù)語錯譯、術(shù)語拼寫錯誤、語法錯誤、風(fēng)格指南錯誤、表達問題和措辭問題;其次針對不同的錯誤類型提出相應(yīng)的譯前編輯策略,如對界面詞或術(shù)語進行預(yù)處理;調(diào)整句式結(jié)構(gòu);通過增補信息、明確邏輯關(guān)系、刪減冗余信息、使用標點符號等方式消除歧義等,并在案例分析過程中對所提出策略的有效性進行驗證。本文有助于譯員通過譯前編輯優(yōu)化原文本,規(guī)避機器翻譯的一些錯誤,提高機器翻譯譯文質(zhì)量,減少譯后編輯的工作量,從而提高翻譯效率,適應(yīng)市場需求。
