新聞標題被視作“新聞報道的眼睛”,它以簡練的文字濃縮新聞的基本內(nèi)容,提煉新聞事實精華吸引讀者,在新聞報道中起著獨特的作用。在當今世界,跨文化、跨國度交流愈發(fā)頻繁,傳媒翻譯在此過程中也扮演著不可或缺的角色。傳媒翻譯研究以及翻譯質(zhì)量控制需得到廣泛關(guān)注。本報告重點關(guān)注中英文新聞標題翻譯,旨在為傳媒翻譯研究提供個人建議。基于筆者在Meltwater（一家外資新聞咨詢公司）的翻譯實習經(jīng)驗,本報告將對Meltwater新聞監(jiān)測報告（雙語信息服務(wù)產(chǎn)品）進行解讀和分析,并充分展示筆者實習過程中所遇到的具體翻譯案例分析、翻譯問題解剖以及翻譯策略規(guī)劃。整體而言,本報告通過梳理并總結(jié)英文新聞標題行文規(guī)律與特點,針對不同標題翻譯問題提出相應(yīng)的翻譯策略,指導商業(yè)用途下的新聞標題翻譯,為新聞翻譯貢獻微薄之力。
